H.K. College of Pharmacy (HKCP), Mumbai, is an eminent institute specializing in Pharmaceutical Sciences. Alongside the undergraduate and postgraduate programs under the auspices of the University of Mumbai, HKCP has its admission process which aims to select meritorious candidates through competitive entrance examinations.

B.Pharma admissions are treated based on the Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MHT-CET). That is a state-level examination generally held in April or May each year. The M.Pharma (Pharmaceutics) admission is conducted on the basis of a valid Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT). GPAT is a national-level entrance exam.

The basic eligibility for B.Pharma is 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Mathematics. For M.Pharma, candidates must have a B.Pharma degree from a recognized university. Application Process

The application process at H.K. College of Pharmacy, Mumbai, is different for B. Pharm and M. Pharm programs:

For B. Pharm:

1. Attend the MHT CET examination conducted by the Government of Maharashtra.
2. Register for the Centralized Admission Process (CAP) supervised by the State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra.
3. Fill in the online application form and upload all required documents.
4. Pay the application fee as directed by the admission authority.

Degree-wise Admission Process

B.Pharma: The course of B.Pharma at HKCP is a 4-year full-time course, admitting 100 students. Admission is based on the candidates' achievement in the MHT-CET examination; and candidates who have completed their 12th standard with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Mathematics are eligible to apply. The selection is purely on merit and based on MHT-CET scores.

M.Pharma (Pharmaceutics): The M.Pharma program at HKCP in Pharmaceutics is a 2-year full-time course with an intake of 15 students. The admission procedure is through a valid GPAT score. Candidates must have completed their B.Pharma from any recognized university. The criterion for selection is based on merit in this national-level examination, GPAT.
