Hari College of Pharmacy, Saharanpur Admission Process

The Hari College of Pharmacy is known to be one of the most prestigious institutions for pharmacy studies in Uttar Pradesh, India. It has full membership of all governing bodies for pharmacy colleges and has full accreditation by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) and the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), and in furtherance of this, it undertakes a well-thought-out admission selection process for acceptance of competent and motivated students for the pharmacy programmes. The Hari College of Pharmacy admission process has been focused on identifying those students that are best suited for training in pharmaceutical education. 

The Hari College of Pharmacy intends to prepare highly skilled human resources to meet the needs of the healthcare and pharmaceutical sector.  So far, the basic eligibility that has been adopted for Hari College of Pharmacy admission into courses has been completing the full 10+2 education with the main subjects of Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Mathematics. Currently, there are actually two running courses by college: D.Pharma (Diploma in Pharmacy) and B.Pharma (Bachelor of Pharmacy); these two courses differ in their requirements and the amounts of students they can intake each year.

Hari College of Pharmacy Application Process

The admission procedure at Hari College of Pharmacy, Saharanpur, involves a series of steps to select the deserving candidates:

  • Eligibility Verification: Students wishing to apply will make sure that they meet the eligibility requirements for the D.Pharma or B.Pharma programme of choice, which includes a qualifying 10+2 level with compulsory disciplines.

  • Entrance Test: No information was found related to an entrance test; most likely candidates must appear for this entrance test in order to be admitted or be admitted on the basis of the scores in a relevant state-level/national-level pharmacy entrance examination. 
  • Merit List: Preparation of a merit list is likely to be done by the college on the basis of a candidate's performance in the qualifying examination (10+2) and/or results from that entrance examination.
  • Counselling and Admission: The candidates introduced in the merit will be called for a counselling session for the selection of courses (D.Pharma or B.Pharma) based on their merit rank or available seats.
  • Fee Payment and Document Verification: The administration process will be completed only after receiving and verifying original documents belonging to selected candidates to confirm eligibility into the programme.

These are both full-time courses, run within the college itself, to impart to the students the necessary theoretical knowledge and practical skills that can make for a successful career in pharmacy.

Hari College of Pharmacy D.Pharma Admission Process

The Diploma in Pharmacy programme offered by Hari College of Pharmacy is a two-year course intended to impart essential knowledge and skills concerning pharmacy sciences. A total of 60 seats are available for D.Pharma admissions. Candidates seeking eligibility for D.Pharma admission must have qualified 10+2 with the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Mathematics.

Hari College of Pharmacy B.Pharma Admission Process

The Bachelor of Pharmacy programme is a four-year undergraduate professional-orientated programme dealing with pharmaceutical sciences. Like the D. Pharma, B. Pharma has an intake of 60 seats. For B. Pharma admission, the eligibility criteria are the same, requiring the candidate to have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Mathematics.
