The college infrastructure is really great. The best features include lush green lawns and vibrant atmosphere. The library stands as a treasure of knowledge. The acad blocks are well equipped with all necessary facilities.
I’m currently pursuing B.Sc(Hons) Statistics. The curriculum is great and up to date. Teachers are very supportive and the quality of education provided is top notch. It’s really fun to study stats. The lab is great.
The placements at Hindu college are great. A very high percentage of students were placed in the previous academic year. The placement process at Hindu college is streamlined and supported facilitated by dedicated placement cell.
It is a true value for money. The quality of education coupled with the ample opportunities for personal and professional growth makes it a worthwhile investment. The fees is about 30000 which is absolutely worth it for the facilities provided.
Campus life is spectacular. One can enjoy various academic clubs as well as cultural events like Mecca, DU’s biggest fest. Overall the college offers an enriching experience preparing students for success in both academic and extracurricular pursuits.
The infrastructure is really great. The classrooms are in good condition. Everything is clean and maintained. The gardens are very beautiful. There are a lot of facilities like labs, library etc. everything in great condition.
I am pursuing B.Sc (H) Statistics. The faculty is very good and understanding. These are the best teachers i have had in my entire life. The quality of education is impeccable. We are taught things that would really help in career as well.
The placements are top notch. Considering the fact that we have a lot of courses in our college, the placement opportunities are also from diverse sectors like Science, English, Commerce etc. Highest package is 36.5 LPA and average package is 10.4 LPA.
My course was approximately 22,000 per year. I would say that spending that much amount was perfectly justified given the quality of teaching and academics and infrastructure, facilities and opportunities that were provided
Campus life is amazing! It has a nice vibe to the atmosphere. The place has a very friendly vibe to it, makes you wanna stay there for long. the sports complex has many activities like basketball court, volleyball court etc. the canteens are also great. location is very good and there is medical room for emergencies.
No doubt, Hindu College is the best college in North Campus, Delhi University. I was in Msc(Honours) in Mathematics and our classrooms are located in the first building of the college, widely known as "Hindu College." We refer to it as the Eco Balcony. The classroom is quite spacious and in very good condition, equipped with air conditioning. For presentations, there is a large projector available. Although there are some network issues, they are manageable. After class, I spent most of my time in the library. There are three large reading halls for students, with a vast collection of books. The library offers a wide range of books, from UPSC to other government exam preparation books, along with different magazines. I also used to read The Hindu newspaper in the library, where various newspapers are available. In the canteen, the food is excellent, and I would rate it 8 out of 10. Both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options are available, featuring dishes like biryani, dosa, tea, fruit juice, samosa, aloo-peti, aloo paratha, chowmein, and chole bhature. I have no information about medical facilities, as I never required them. There are mainly three sports played during my time – volleyball, cricket, and basketball. The cricket ground is well-maintained, with four men taking care of it weekly. We spent a lot of time on the ground, especially during the winter.
The faculty are well educated and all qualified and the knowledge level is great. Talking about teaching quality, it is awesome. We study mainly physics, chemistry and math for the future. All students can manage all the academics. The semester exams are very easy and the average CGPA is 7.
We have a very good campus selection with an average package of 15 Lacs. More than 70 companies visit and gave more than 120 offers. With 100 percent placement I want to go with a good company. American express, Deloitte, amazon, JP morgan, accenture etc. Are among top recruiting companies.
One of the best college
The college is having all the facilities including the wifi Or the sports. But it is lacking in indoor facilities for the sports. Also the foods which we get are hygienic and the campus is clean. The major problem which we face is the cleaning of washrooms, but in this college the washrooms are always clean we don't have to face unhygienic stuffs.
Well, in this college I am doing BA (Hons) in sanskrit. In this course we not only study about the literature and grammar but we our teachers help us to connect the knowledge with modern era. So that we can do more research on sanskrit.
Talking about the placement I think every college tries to provide the best they can. But it depends on the students how they achieve it. Although the placements are good. Even we have different alumni who are on different top post. They have achieved all this from this college only. So we could also.
Talking about the money value, this college is nice comparing the cost and the facilities or opportunity which we get I think the cost of my course is worth it.
Every campus has its own best and worst things. Including the infrastructure the teachers and staff are also very cooperative and some teachers are like outstanding don't have words to describe about them. They treat the students very well and also understand their problems and try to resolve them.
I just wish that in this college we could have the badminton court. Above all this I personally never face the problem of ragging. The seniors are very genuine and helpful by nature. And for this I would like to thank our seniors, teachers, and members of anti-ragging committee.
I really like the infrastructure of my college. Although the college itself is not very big but has a minimalistic , cozy touch . In comparison to other colleges, I feel more homelike here maybe. But those who are more into lavish and decorative things might have a different opinion.
College is all about specialising in your subject. Professors can give you ideas but at the end it is self study that really matters. Studing in school and college are two different things and here professors will show you the way , it is you who have to work and do the hard labour.
My seniors from the commerce departments say that the placement is college is fine. Although I personally do not have any experience regarding placements but there are societies like e cell and all that focus on placement.
Yes!!!
Peaceful and vibrant with lots of squirrels jumping from one branch to another. You will love it !
Nope
Hindu College is a mix of old charm and modern facilities.the classrooms are generally spacious and equipped with basic amenities . The college library has a vast collection of books and it's a hub for academic research and study sessions.
The academic of the college is excellent .The college academic environment is very competitive as well as very supportive. It provides a enriching academic experience that prepares students for the future careers.
The quality of placements is good but only few students are selected in our course every year. This year also only 10 -15 students are placed out of 70 Highest package (in stats)= 23.5 lakh per annum Average package=10-12 lakh.
Stats hons annual fee is 26,200 excluding the examination fees. It's totally worth it as the college fee is very less as a compared to other colleges as well as the academic and other extra curricular activities are also excellent.
The college campus is very accommodating and diverse with various students from different parts of the country. The location of college is safe as it located in North campus, Delhi University which is a well known education hub
The college has lots of buildings and research centres but most of them remain closed throughout the year. Even the sports Complex can be of vital use if it gets opened. This hampers accessibility for the students.
I'm studying history hons. Curriculum does not depend on the college but the uni so I don't think the college can do anything about it. Professors are good but some as usual can be tough to handle, thus making learning a tad bit difficult.
Not sure since I don't belong to the commerce courses, but disha our placement cell has had positive reviews in the past so I think interested people can look at their brochure to learn more about them.
I paid 25000 plus 1.5 lacs for accommodation in Delhi. Being a govt college demands of such exorbitant fees from students who might not be so well-off seems to be insensitive.
Many students to foster a vibrant learning environment. Lots of places to hang out with friends and the support staff is always very friendly and welcoming. College is well-built in terms of daily usage structures.
The campus is extremely beautiful, especially the lawns. I really Love the greenery all around and beautiful buildings . The canteen food is surprisingly decent, might never forget the burgers from new canteen.
The professors here are decent. Love the teaching style of few teachers but some of them are very lenient when it comes to teaching. The coursework is amazing and challenging. The Library is a saviour.
Well Hindu College is known for its impressive placement record, with companies like Google, HDFC, Maruti, and Deloitte visiting campus. I have seen my seniors already land impressive jobs. The placement cell is doing great work.
Totally Worth It! Considering the education, placements, and the whole college experience, Hindu College is an absolute steal. The hostel is quite expensive but would enjoy the experience of it.
There's a society for literally everything! Debating, dance, dramatics, you name it. It's a great way to meet new people who share your interests. And the fest season is gonna exhaust you with all the fun activities going around.
At Hindu College, the infrastructure is commendable, earning a solid 4.5 out of 5 rating. The campus boasts modern facilities and well-maintained buildings, creating a conducive environment for academic and extracurricular activities. The Statistics department enjoys state-of-the-art laboratories equipped with the latest software and computing resources, facilitating hands-on learning and research opportunities for students. The classrooms are spacious and equipped with audio-visual aids, enhancing the overall learning experience. Studying Statistics for its practical applications and analytical skills. Teaching quality is excellent, with knowledgeable faculty. The curriculum is updated, incorporating recent developments, ensuring job readiness.
Placement quality at Hindu College is stellar. Over 70% of students were placed. The highest package, 36.5 LPA, went to Commerce. Average salary was 10.4LPA. The process was smooth, aided by college support.
At 30,000 per year, the course cost at Hindu College is a solid investment. The excellent infrastructure, experienced faculty, and abundant opportunities for growth make it worth every penny. The value extends beyond the classroom, with practical experiences and skill development preparing students for successful careers. It's a cost-effective choice offering high returns in education and career prospects.
Nestled amidst lush greenery, our college campus is a picturesque haven for learning. Its best features include modern facilities, serene surroundings, and ample green spaces for relaxation. Moreover, the college has well-defined emergency protocols in place to handle any unforeseen situations effectively, ensuring the safety and well-being of all on campus.
The college has absolutely fascinating infrastructure and one of the best infrastructures I've seen amongst most of the colleges in Delhi University, from beautiful auditoriums to clean washrooms and AC classes, it has everything.
I'm studying Bsc. Statistics hons and the teachers are okay at teaching, not too good but not too bad, you will have to study a lot on your own though, but thats just college life, can't complaint much about it.
Our college has a great placement and internship cell which provide us updates about new internships and placements and they mention everything like criteria, application process etc. and our college seniors' placements have been very great too.
The college is worth its value in money, from good infrastructure to a good course, to college societies which help you grow and to good food in canteens. Our college is very happening and something or the other is always occuring which keeps us occupied.
Campus life is good, our college is good for exploring and has a lot if places to explore and check out in your free time, and the staff is really friendly too and everyone is pretty chill which makes college life much easier.
