Know this before you come to ISI Delhi

    Verified Review
    College Infrastructure

The college is recently built in comparison to other ISIs. Hence the infrastructure is very new. Before our best there was no undergraduate courses running in ISI Delhi. All the classrooms and laboratories away liquid with all the basic and modern facilities needed.

    Academics

The professors are quite reputed researchers in their respective fields. Some of them represent the country at the international conferences. I am studying Bachelor of statistical data science which is the first undergraduate batch of ISI Delhi. The course is running in hybrid mode that is in both online and offline mode. The curriculum makes the students industry ready and is not that much theoretical.

    Placements

Mostly placements is for masters people. As it is the first batch of the course hence there is no placement statistics of past . But according to the institute we will be seating with masters people for placements when we will graduate. Last year highest package from masters was 63 LPA and average stood around 20 LPA .

    Value for Money

The value for money is too good as this is the only course where ISI allows undergraduate students to sit for placements. Also being a 4 year course it have many advantages for higher studies in Foreign Universities.

    Campus Life

Campus life is below average. Gender ratio is too bad. The location is near IIT Delhi . Very less number of extra co-curricular activities take place because of presence of only masters and PhD people in campus who mostly dedicate their entire time into studies.

ISI Delhi Bachelor of Statistical Data Science Review

    Verified Review
    College Infrastructure

Infrastructure wise the college is a bit small in comparison to other Institute of national importance but faculty members teaching here are well qualified. All the classroom sir the necessary modern day facilities required for teaching in both online and offline mode. The whole academy area is connected to Wi-Fi.

    Academics

All the professors and faculty members have obtained their doctorates either from foreign or from top Indian universities. I am studying Bachelor of statistical data science which is the first undergraduate batch of ISI Delhi. Our curriculum is mostly industry oriented and includes courses from statistics and data science along with abstract mathematics. The semester exams are very hard and requires much efforts to pass.

    Placements

As before our were Indian statistical Institute Delhi only had master students and doctorate students the placement records of only them are available. Mostly the highest package is graved by MSQE people investment or trading firms. The highest package for last year was 63 LPA with average packages around 10-15 LPA.

    Value for Money

The course is pretty costly but the return of investment is so high if the student works hard and get placed in multinational companies. Also fever is available for students with parents having less annual income than 5 LPA.

    Campus Life

The campus life is below average. Gender ratio is too bad. There is no places to go out and chill inside the campus. Most of the students are geeks and prefer no interaction at all. Hence there are lesson number of events conducted in an year in the institute.
