Can I get Admission in IIST after completion of my Diploma in Mechanical Engineering?

Hello,
IIST offers Aerospace engineering, Avionics, Chemistry, Earth and Space Sciences and Physics & Maths. I don't think so that they aceept lateral entry as I checked on the official website. You also can go through it and check yourself and if you get clear with your field then it will be great because I don't think so if Mechanical gets all along with these fields. Hi,
The minimum marks required for btech admission are 70% in 10+2 and 10th . So you must apply easily no issues. There is always a way for this percentage issue.

if student passed in jee main exam is eligible for entering IIST

Yes you are but not only in jee main you need to pass jee advance as well as it's eligibility crteria says ,

All aspirants must have secured at least 75% aggregate marks in Class XII (or equivalent) board examination.
SC, ST and PD candidates must have obtained at least 65% aggregate marks in class XII in order to be considered eligible for IIST B.Tech admission 2017.
All applicants must take JEE Advanced 2017 for IIST B.Tech Admission 2017.
For taking JEE Advanced 2017, the candidates are also required to take jee main 2017 without which the candidates can not take the second level exam – JEE Advanced 2017.

What cutoff in JEE mains need to get admission in IIST ?

Dear Gaurav,

Yes, IIST provides engineering course.

It provides 4 year B.Tech in Aerospace Engineering and Avionics.

In order to take admission you have to appear for JEE Advanced exam. In order to be eligible for JEE Advanced you have to qualify for JEE Main exam first.

No you are required to give entrance exam. You are not eligible for admission through managment through managment quota .

College Infrastructure

IIST, Indore has the best Campus infrastructure in the city. To maintain the greenery of the campus Green wave clubs is there. This club plants many trees every year in the periphery of the campus. All essential facilities are available in the campus itself.

College Infrastructure

IIST college has a well maintained clean and green campus with all the facilities required. The labs and classrooms are well furnished and have all the required equipments. Our college promotes cleanliness, and the infrastructure of the college is good. It has a good canteen area and different grounds for different sports and play courts.

It's good and vibrant.

College Infrastructure

College has good infrastructure, has majority of needed labs and necessary equipment. Although it needs to have some of the changes to be done. Have good computer lab, seminar hall But needs a big auditorium for large events.
