International Institute of Rehabilitation Sciences and Research, Bhubaneswar Admission Process

The International Institute of Rehabilitation Sciences and Research (IIRSR) at Bhubaneswar is a prestigious organization specializing in the field of rehabilitation sciences and research. It is situated at Jagamara locality, Khandagiri, Bhubaneswar. IIRSR aims at delivering quality education in the discipline of rehabilitation sciences. Degree wise Admission Process

BPT (Bachelor of Physiotherapy): It is a four-year undergraduate course conducted by IIRSR. Admission into the BPT course will be undertaken considering the candidate's performance in 10+2 or equivalent exam with preference to science subjects. The candidates who wish to take up this course must have Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as secondary level subjects. The institute may carry out further screening processes to identify appropriate students for this course.

BASLP (Bachelor of Audiology and Speech Language Pathology): IIRSR provides this four-year undergraduate course for students who want to join audiology and speech therapy. The admissions in BASLP may be based on the performance in 10+2 with science stream. The institute can use scores obtained in relevant entrance exams or hold its own selection procedure to accept admissions in this specialized course.

M.Sc Audiology: It is a two-year postgraduate course program conducted by IIRSR. Admission to M.Sc Audiology is usually conducted on the basis of the performance of the candidate in his/her bachelor's degree, preferably BASLP or allied streams. The institute could also conduct a personal entrance examination or interview to evaluate the merit of the candidates for this advanced program.

The main eligibility is aggregate 50% with subjects physics, chemistry, mathematics or biology.

If you have passed your 12th with 50% aggregate and your subjects were physics, chemistry with biology or mathematics, then you are surely eligible for this course - Bachelor's in Audiology and Speech Language.
