What to tell it's better to be silent .

    College Infrastructure

Smartboard is not there.lift is only for faculty not for students. Girls are very less in the college.Co-curricular activity is also not organised. They are not maintaining good lecturer who is efficient in their subjects.Sqme faculty teaching each & every subject

    Academics

Curriculum is not updated.Traditional method of teaching is there.wifi is also not there. Only they know one thing that is how to take late fee.Hostel food is also bad. They are not maintaining hygiene food Quality.

    Placements

Very Bad.Not even a single student get placed through college.its better to do ITI from other ITI institute.Poor record of placement this college is having. Those who took admission they felt like they are grabbed inside cage.

    Value for Money

Better to do from some government college that is better

    Campus Life

Very Boring. No good looking girls are there.

Overall I had really good experience in JEC

    College Infrastructure

The infrastructure of my college is good. It has a well-stocked library, computer lab, auditorium, transportation facility, campus with internet facility,Canteen but it requires good management. I made many new friends, they help me a lot even my seniors are also very much corporative or you can say there is a friendly environment. All in All its good.

    Academics

I am a student of B.Tech final year Mechanical branch. The quality of teaching is not very good, you get to know only bookish knowledge not the practical knowledge. But my department is quite supportive and encourages us to go for workshops and events.

    Placements

During my Studies, there were very limited campus placements. But after pandemic, there has been no companies for campus placement. Though there are some who recruit on online interview basis but they are not good companies and asks money for the students for training period.

    Value for Money

The course costs around 25k-30k per semester. There has been very limited company giving placements to mechanical students so we are facing alot of issues.

    Campus Life

Mixed ratios of genders with 60:30. Sometimes they conduct the students workshop to improve the students knowledge, skill and extra curricular acitvities. They give importance to sports also, whatever sports they can choose and put their effort and shines. The location is a bit outside the city but there are AC bus services with affordable rates. And for emergency situations college provides their personal vehicle.

JEC a review of true RTU college!

    College Infrastructure

Required facilities and equipments were there but little maintenance needed. Sports department was fine. IT infrastructure was bit outdated but students managed somehow. Mechanical engineering department was good, rest of them were average.

    Academics

Most of the teaching staff were just graduated hence lack of experience was seen in some cases. Some of them are good in their respective departments but college has to just fill the places. I think it should be controlled by university.

    Placements

Top companies refused to visit campus many times due to lack of interest in placements from college. Later on we created Placement Committee and some Tier-2,3 companies started coming into the drives.

    Value for Money

It was as per RTUs fee structure. It wasn't too much or too less but if you can kickstart your career it's good.

    Campus Life

It's always nice feeling when you remember about the college life doesn't matter whichever college you're in.

    Others

It was average in earlier days but nowadays it's not that good as seats are also empty and students are also not interested.

Have a question related to JEC Jaipur ?

Hello sir/mam I first got Jaipur Engineering College in reap counselling, then I applied for upward movement and then I got BK Birla Institute of Technology Pilani. So I want to know which college will be in the lead for CS .Is BKbiet Pilani better than Poornima College?Sir, can I not get CS in JECRC without reap counselling? But you must tell me whether BKbiet is the best or JEC Jaipur.

    Hello,

Thanks for your detailed query. Let’s break this down step by step so you get a clear idea.

First, between BKBIET Pilani, Poornima College, and JECRC Jaipur, here’s a quick comparison for Computer Science:

    • JECRC Jaipur is considered better overall in terms of placement, infrastructure, and reputation compared to BKBIET.
    • Poornima is also good, especially in Jaipur, but JECRC has slightly stronger industry connections and more consistent placement records.
    • And BKBIET Pilani is decent, but if you’re comparing only for CSE, then JECRC > Poornima > BKBIET.

Now, about getting CS in JECRC without REAP , unfortunately, JECRC participates in REAP counselling for regular admissions. So unless they open management quota seats or spot admission later, it’s tough to get CS without REAP.

You can check their official website for direct admission possibilities or call their admission office and request if there are any vacant seats or internal quota options.

Best wishes for your engineering journey!

Sir, I have got admission in Jaipur Engineering College in reap counselling so should I go in the upward round

    Hey Raj,

    Thanks for reaching out!

If you're satisfied with your allotted seat in Jaipur Engineering College, you can skip the upward round. But if you want a better branch or a higher preferred college you can  go for the upward round. There's no risk involved .If no better options is available, your current seat will be retained. Just make sure to confirm your willingness for the upward movement during reporting.

Go for what aligns best with your ambitions.

I got mechatronics engineering in JEC, in second round of MP DTE , should I take it or not??? Pretty confused..

If you got Mechatronics Engineering at JEC (Jabalpur Engineering College) in Round 2 of MP DTE counselling, here’s a simple way to decide:

    • If you are interested in robotics, automation, AI, and mechanical and  electronics systems, Mechatronics is a very future forward and interdisciplinary field.

    • JEC is a reputed government college, so you’ll get good exposure and low fees.

    • If you were expecting a better branch or college and think your chances are strong in upcoming rounds, you can wait  but there’s a risk of not getting anything better.

    • If you’re unsure about the Mechatronics branch itself, research its scope and see if it aligns with your career interests.
