Jamui B.Ed College is one among the fore-runner teacher education institutions located in Jamui, Bihar. The college has two main programs: Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) and Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed). The aim of the admission process at Jamui B.Ed College is to select deserving candidates for these programs.
The college is conducting its admission on the basis of merit according to the policy of the State Government of Bihar and affiliated university. Degree wise Admission Process
B.Ed (Bachelor of Education):
The B.Ed course at Jamui B.Ed College is a two-year full-time course for preparing candidates for a career in teaching. Admission into the B.Ed course is made on a merit basis, taking into consideration the marks scored in either the qualifying examination or entrance examination. The college has an approved intake of 100 seats for this program. Candidates applying for the B.Ed program must have a graduation or post-graduation degree from a recognized university.
D.El.Ed (Diploma in Elementary Education):
D.El.Ed programs are conducted to prepare teachers for elementary education. Admissions, similar to those for B.Ed, for D.El.Ed are also held on a merit basis, with reference to scores in the qualifying examination and/or in the entrance examination. The college has an approved intake of 100 seats for the D.El.Ed program. The eligibility condition usually requires candidates to have completed their 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized board.
