JB Mahajan Degree College is one of the affiliated colleges in Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh. The admission process at JB Mahajan Degree College is designed to select deserving candidates for various programs in Arts, Science, Commerce, and Education. Degree Wise Admission Process

Under the BA program, the college provides students with subjects accommodating many interests in humanities and social sciences.

B. Sc.: The Bachelor of Science program is sanctioned with a strength of 420 seats. Similar to the BA program, admission to B.Sc is based on merit according to the marks obtained in the 10+2 examination. To be eligible for this program, a candidate's high secondary education should have contained science subjects.

B. Com.: The Bachelor of Commerce program offers 180 seats. Like that of B.Com, merit-list-based admission in this program occurs on the satisfying qualification of marks obtained in the examination. Students with commerce or any related subjects in their 10+2 are mostly allowed to study in this program.

D. El. Ed: This program has a sanctioned strength of 100 seats. The D.El.Ed admission process is slightly distinct from that of other programs. It states: "Admission shall be made on merit on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying examination and/or in the entrance examination or any other selection process as per the policy of the state government/UT Administration." Henceforth, it is required by candidates to appear for the entrance examination in addition to qualifying examinations performance.
