Jindal School of Journalism and Communication, 2018, Sonipat, Haryana, is a constituent college. The school is co-educational and imparts professional courses in journalism, media studies, and communication. JSJC has a faculty strength of 18, and at two different degree levels, it offers four courses. Some specializations under which the school designs its curriculum include Journalism, Media Studies, Film and New Media, and Corporate Communication. 

JSJC has several facilities available on campus to help a student in their daily life. There are separate hostel facilities for boys and girls. The residential fee is INR 3,10,000. This institute has also got a well-stocked library that assists students in their academic pursuit. This institution also provides excellent IT infrastructure so that the students get to learn with the aid of the most advanced technology available in their respective fields. The college also provides sports facilities for those inclined towards extracurricular activities. An admission process consists of three evaluation rounds including assessments of the personal statement, supplemental application, Class 10 and 12 marks, a faculty interview, and JSAT score (minimum 50% or equivalent in SAT, ACT, LSAT-India). The total program fee is Rs 14,00,000.

BA Hons Film and New Media:
Having 30 seats for intake, this program follows the same procedure as Journalism and Media Studies course for admission. Evaluations focus on personal statement, supplemental application, academic performance, faculty interview, and standardized test scores. Program fee: Rs 16,00,000.

BA Corporate Communication and Public Affairs Hons:
This program also has 30 seats and works on the same holistic admission process as the other undergraduate programs. Evaluation criteria include personal statement, supplemental application, Class 10 and 12 marks, faculty interview, and JSAT scores. Total fee for the course is Rs 14,00,000.

PhD Journalism and Communication:
Specific admission procedures for PhD programs were unknown but are presumed to involve rigorous appraisal of an applicant's research proposal, academic background, and future potential towards advanced study in the field.

It was a new kind of experience for me.

College Infrastructure

The infrastructure is unique but also like a puzzle. The academic block, hostles amd the mess building all have elivators and washrooms for the disabled. All classros have projectors and boards. Everywhere indoors is equiped with conditioning units. The libraries are big with a wide collection of books and they along with the reading rooms in the student housings provide ample amount of space for studying. My only gripe would be that the increase in student population makes it hard for everyone.
