Justice Basheer Ahmed Sayeed College for Women Chennai offers admissions into the programmes at UG, PG and Doctoral levels. JBAS College for Women admissions into the UG programmes are given based on the merit of the 10+2/Intermediate examination. JBAS Chennai PG admissions are given based on the scores of the bachelors degree exams. 

JBAS College for Women admission policy for UG programmes is that the upper age limit will be 21 (twenty-one) years as of 1st July and other terms and conditions. Doctoral admissions at JBAS are given based on the interview process.

• Online applications are accepted from the students who fulfil the JBAS College for Women admission requirements.

• Contenders are advised to acquire merit in the last qualifying examinations.

• The Departments are given unique IDs and passwords to log in and browse the applications of their programmes.

• All eligible applications will be arranged in descending order of merit for selection purposes.

• Aspirants are shortlisted on a merit basis.

• The eligible applicants through the descending order merit wise are selected and they are intimated through e-mail and SMS.

Select Shift-I Forenoon Session (7.55 A.M -12.55 P.M) or Shift-II Afternoon Session (1.05 P.M-5.30 P.M) and then select course. Ensure that all Required Mandatory fields are filled up (marked fields are mandatory). A separate Application Form must be submitted for each course in Shift-I- I and Shift-II. JBAS College for Women courses are MA, MCom, MCA and MSc are offered for JBAS College for Women admissions.

JBAS College for Women Admission Process 2026 for PG Courses

• Students seeking JBAS College for Women PG admissions should fulfil the JBAS College for Women admission criteria.

• Registration Fee must be paid online by Internet Banking/Credit Card/Debit Card or through any other payment mode. Registration fee once paid will not be refunded on any account.

• A Unique Application Number (UAN) will be generated once the application is submitted successfully. This UAN should be quoted for any further queries.

• A copy of the application form will be sent to the registered Email and the Applicants can download the form for their reference.

• The selected candidates will be intimated about the interview date through Email/SMS/Phone call.

• Based on the student's performance in the interview process, applicants are allotted seats.
