    College Infrastructure

I’m studying B.Tech IT at KRCE, and the college infrastructure is pretty decent. The classrooms are clean and have projectors in most rooms. The IT labs are functional and have the required tools for programming, networking, and database-related tasks. The internet speed is okay, especially in labs and library blocks. There’s a dedicated library with a digital section where we can access journals and e-books. The canteen is good for basic meals, and the college bus service runs on time.

    Academics

The academics are tightly structured. KRCE follows the Anna University syllabus and keeps track of our internal performance seriously. Teachers are helpful, especially when you attend classes regularly and show interest. Our department staff provide useful materials, guide us in online certifications, and help with project work too. Lab sessions are regular and useful for mini-projects and external labs.

    Placements

KRCE offers good placement support for IT students. We had proper training sessions in our 3rd year — aptitude, mock interviews, resume preparation, and soft skills. Companies like Infosys, Capgemini, Wipro, and TCS came for campus placement. A good percentage of students from our batch got placed in these companies.

    Value for Money

Considering the support and facilities, the college offers decent value for money. The fees are affordable for a private engineering college and justified by the training and placement support.

    Campus Life

Campus life is peaceful. There are a few cultural and tech events every year. If you prefer a quiet college focused on academics, KRCE is a good option.

    College Infrastructure

KRCE has a simple and neat campus with basic but well-maintained infrastructure. Our classrooms are clean and have projectors for visual learning. The IT labs are decent and have the required software for coding, networking, and DBMS practice. The internet works fine in most areas, especially in the labs and library. The library is stocked with textbooks, manuals, and digital resources for technical reference. There's also a canteen with affordable food, and buses cover almost all local routes in Trichy.

    Academics

Academically, KRCE follows the Anna University syllabus strictly. Faculty in the IT department are regular, serious about student progress, and approachable if you need help. Internal assessments are conducted properly, and assignments are checked regularly. Most teachers also suggest good online learning platforms like NPTEL, Infosys Springboard, and HackerRank to help improve our skills outside class.

    Placements

The placement cell starts training students in the third year. We had sessions for aptitude, programming, and interview practice. Many of our seniors got placed in service-based companies like Infosys, TCS, and Wipro. The placement rate for IT is decent, especially if you attend training sessions regularly.

    Value for Money

The fee is affordable when compared to other private colleges. The infrastructure and placement support justify the cost, and extra charges like bus and hostel are reasonable.

    Campus Life

KRCE is more of a serious college than a fun one. We do have cultural events, symposiums, and technical fests once in a while, but the overall vibe is focused and calm.

I’m studying B.Tech IT at KRCE. The college has a clean and calm environment. The classrooms are okay — they have projectors and whiteboards. Our department labs are well maintained and have the software we need for coding, networking, and database labs. The library has both physical and digital resources. You can find e-books, past papers, and journals. Wi-Fi is available, though not strong everywhere. The canteen is decent, and the college provides good transportation facilities to nearby areas.

    Academics

Academically, KRCE is very structured. The syllabus is followed properly and internal tests are taken seriously. The IT department faculty are friendly and supportive. Mini projects and lab exams are done with proper support from staff.

Companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, and some local startups visit regularly. If you’re consistent, you can definitely get placed. The department also supports us in off-campus drives.

    Value for Money

For the fee we pay, we get a good return in terms of education and placement training. Hostel and bus charges are separate but manageable.

    Campus Life

Campus life is quiet. There are a few events like tech symposiums and cultural fests every year. It’s not a very outgoing college, but perfect if you want to stay focused on your career.
