Kalptaru College of B.Sc. Nursing was set up in 2008, and is exclusively a nursing college which is situated in Udaipur, Rajasthan. The college is located in a plot area of 1 acre and it has aimed at offering quality education in nursing stream. This offers a total facility of 143 students and teacher training faculty of 18 that makes the institute’s student teacher ratio justifiable and well balanced. The college provides only one B.Sc. nursing programme which is a four-year full-time course.

Kalptaru College of B.Sc. Nursing has a variety of amenities that are supposed to facilitate students’ learning process in particular. The library is a part of fundamental possessions of each university and contains over 2000 books on nursing and medical scientific issues, and new issues of the nursing journals and magazines. Among these amenities, it has offered practical training through get up study including Anatomy, Fundamental, Community, Nutrition and Computer laboratory so each laboratory is equipped with scientific instruments and necessary gadgets. Recreation and personality development is also given much importance at the college level and it conducts carnival, picnics, parties and annual functions etc are arranged for the students.

Kalptaru College of B.Sc. Nursing has connections with several multi-specialty hospitals in the city so as to provide the students of B. Sc. Nursing a good exposure to clinical practise. It also provides comfortable hostel accommodation for male and female students with well furnished spacious rooms built with modern facilities. Also there are transport for day scholar and education related facilities that are assured by the college.

Kalptaru College of B.Sc. Nursing offers only one course that is the full time B.Sc. Nursing course with an intake capacity of forty seats only. This programme is a four years degree programme meant to produce competent nurses with ability to face the challenges in the health sector. It means that by having a single special course offered in a college, it achieves intensive and detailed education on nursing.
