Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) is a two-year full-time undergraduate course approved by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) and offered by University of Kerala, Thiruvananthapuram.


Eligibility Criteria

50 % marks for BA/B.Sc degree examination for arts subjects in part III
50 % for science subjects for part III

Weightage marks are given to Postgraduate students. in the following way-

MA or M Sc I class- 15 marks
MA or MSc II class- 10 marks
MA or MSc III class- 5 marks

For the students who belong to the same Revenue District is which the college is situated – 10 marks

A weightage of 5 % marks will be given for BA / BSc Part III from Kerala University.

5 marks will be given to Candidates having N.S.S and N.C.C Certificate.

One mark for every month of approved Teaching experience subject to a maximum of 5 marks

Admission Details

Admission Shall be Made on merit based on marks obtained in the qualifying examination and/or in the entrance examination or any other selection process as per the policy of the state government/U.T. Administration and the university.
