Sullamussalam College of Teacher Education, Malappuram, is an accomplished and respected institution dedicated to teacher education. The college conducts two full-time courses: Bachelor of Education, B.Ed, and Diploma in Elementary Education, D.El.Ed. D.El.Ed (Diploma in Elementary Education): The D.El.Ed is also a two-year full-time course offered by the college. The admission to D.El.Ed is merit-based just as for B.Ed; selection is based on marks obtained in the qualifying examination or an entrance test as per the policy of the state government and UT administration. The program is meant for students interested in becoming elementary teachers.
