Degree wise Admission Process

B.Ed (Bachelor of Education): Ezhuthachan Training College has a general B.Ed course in addition to four special B.Ed courses. The admission procedure for each of the B.Ed courses is more or less the same with minor differences depending on the specialization.

1. General B.Ed: The most prominent course with an approved number of 100 seats. Admission is made on merit, taking into consideration the marks scored in the qualifying examination and/or scores in the entrance exam.

2. B.Ed Social Science Self Finance: This is a specialized course with 13 seats. The candidates are chosen on the basis of their performance in the qualifying examination and/or entrance exam, keeping in view their social science background.

3. B.Ed English Self Finance: With 13 seats, this course admits students on the basis of their merit in the qualifying examination and/or entrance exam, keeping in view their proficiency in the English language.

4. B.Ed Mathematics Self Finance: 12 seats are provided by this program. Admission is provided on the basis of the performance of the candidate in the qualifying examination and/or entrance examination with a significant consideration of mathematics background.

5. B.Ed Physical Science Self Finance: 12 seats are provided by this program. The program admits students on the basis of their merit in the qualifying examination and/or entrance examination, with emphasis on their physical science aptitude.

All B.Ed courses at Ezhuthachan Training College are two-year full-time courses, with the aim of offering both pedagogical training and subject specialization.
