Khandelwal Teachers Training College which was established in 2007 is an affiliated College situated at Bharatpur Rajasthan. Gurukul, a co-educational institute is a small complex that occupies only 1.4375 acres of land and aims at training qualitiy teachers. Endorsed by the National Council for Teacher Education located at Bhopal, the college specialises in teacher training programmes. As we currently have 99 students and 16 teaching and non teaching staff in our college setting, would mean small learning College that fosters on competitiveness, individual attention and dignity of the person.
Khandelwal Teachers Training College houses a variety of facilities which are intended to improve the learning process of future teachers. In the middle of these amenities, which include a Standard Photo Lab, a computer lab among others, is the most important one; a library-cum-reading room that can comfortably accommodate forty students at a time, and filled with books of different subjects. This resource centre contains textbook as well as reference book collection, educational surveys, journals and electronic publications. The library offers a book bank where students get to borrow the books of their subject for two weeks continuously. As for practical sessions, the college has a well-equipped psychology laboratory containing different psychological tests and apparatus essential for experiments associated with the B.Ed. course. The institution also understands the efficient use of technology in the modern world as a learning tool, has therefore established a computer lab complete it 8 computers, printers and internet facilities. As a part of the physical personality development along with academic achievement, the college provides facilities for sports & games, which comes up with inter- house competition every year. To support the academic community, an auditorium within the school premises is used in events and seminars.
Khandelwal Teachers Training College currently offers one primary course: The B.Ed programme, or what is commonly known as the Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) programme. This is a full time two years course for eligibility of primary teaching and the college has an intake capacity of one hundred regular seats.
