Hello,

Although there is no set minimum GRE score requirement for admission to any of MIT's graduate programs, the average score for admitted students is generally high, especially for quantitative analysis. As your program of preference is an MS program, an ideal quantitative score would be 165+ for admission to MIT, with the verbal score being less scrutinized.

Regardless, if the remaineder of your application material is strong then you may be able to gain admission to the graduate program.

Hello,

The admission requirements often vary with the program and/or university of application. For most  masters programs in the area of science and technology or where quantitative ability is a requirement, a GRE score is always a requirement.

Additionally, highly language-oriented courses also require a good GRE General test score especially in verbal analysis.

Depsite this, there are many programs which candidates can apply for which do not require a GRE score apart from the areas of study mentioned above.

Regarding IELTS scores, the top universities usually require a score of 7.0 whereas some good European universities also accept scores of 6.0 or 6.5. It is very rare that a score of under 6.0 is accepted in most good universities.

Please share your prospective program of application so that I can provide further details regarding your query.

Hey Varsha.

A score in the range of 320 would be a decent score in GRE for a fair chance of admission in many reputed universities in the United States for admission in MS course in AI/ Data Science.

Best of lucka

Dear Prabitha

Hi Aspirant,
Normally, there is no minimum marks required to take admission through GRE.It totally depends on the university you're targeting.
Mostly, all the best universities prefer scores of 320+ with 165+ in quants.
Mostly, people aim for this. However, there are other colleges who intake students having lesser marks.
Ever college has its own cutoff,so declaring anything would be vague.Hence,I advise you to check the cutoffs of the colleges you want to target and see whether you can get through.
Hope this helps.

Hello,

For admission to a doctoral program in Germany in the environmental sciences, applicants are generally not required to submit GRE scores. Instead, doctoral applicants need to submit a research proposal, a statement of purpose, letters of recommendation as well as a CV. Therefore, no GRE scores need to be submitted.

Additionally, for candidates who have completed previous educational qualifications where the language of instruction was English, proof of English language proficiency is also not required. Some institutions which do require English language proficiency scores accept both TOEFL iBT and IELTS Academic. The minimum criteria is usually 90 for TOEFL and 6.0 band for IELTS.

The top German universities for education in the domain of Environmental Sciences are:

  • RWTH Aachen University
  • University of Gottingen
  • Humboldt-Universitat zu Berlin
  • Technical University of Munich
  • Albert Ludwigs Universitaet Freiburg

GRE for masters in architecture is necessary only of you want to study in US and for particular courses. That too, it weighs only 1015% of your application. Rest is taken by your portfolio(upto 50%), your statement of purpose & references, followed by GPA.

So relax! The GRE is not a big deal. Even so, since you asked, let me tell you. As there are Atleast 5 years for you to prepare, you can easily score a 340 as well. There is no separate subject test you need to take for architecture. Just the usual maths & English (quantitative & verbal)

Once you have graduated, and actually decide that you want to still pursue masters in architecture (I'm not sure you will still be in same mindset.. Architecture changes you) you may then start proper preparation for GRE(like coaching, etc). Until then, you will do well to devote your time to learning Architecture instead. Read lot of books. Architecture books! Start with letters to a young architect by Christopher charles benninger. Then go on to read on architects who inspire you. Follow Dezeen, follow Archdaily, be inspired!Don't be stuck in the rat race of engineering students! We are architects. We are different. Enjoy!

Tips that you can do everyday to be prepared for perfect score 5 years later are:

Read articles across various subjects everyday from papers like The New York times, The Wall street Journal, MIT technology review, the Economist. And write 2 lines about every big article you read in them. This will drastically inopportune your reading comprehension skill.

Learn one new word everyday & use it(for vocabulary)

Answer one technical question on quora once a week. (To improve your writing skills. Refrain answering questions on topics of dating etc as there is not much content writing you can develop there)

Keep solving puzzles and keep in touch with high school math. Solve few sums of high school math every week. That's more than enough.

Anything more than this is really not necessary because they will come under GRE prep that you should start only after you graduate.

Thanks,
Azim

Verbal and quantity reasoning are scaled between 130 to 170 marks where is Analytical reasoning is scaledbetween 0 to6.

Total of 340 marks out of which score obtained in each section is added.
