24 MonthsPost Graduate Diploma in Financial Management is a two-year full-time course offered by Lal Bahadur Shastri Institute of Management, Delhi and approved by All India Council for Technical Education.
The Post-Graduate Diploma in Management (Financial) programme aims to create a cadre of professionals having specialization in the area of Finance. It equips the students to develop strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an ethical mindset. It allows them to develop ability to think critically and operate successfully in a dynamic business environment. The programme enables the participants to understand business challenges holistically and recognize the interplay of finance with other disciplines.

Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates appearing for the final year of the bachelor’s degree/equivalent qualification examination can also apply. However, such candidates must submit a certificate from the Principal / Registrar of their University/institution certifying that the candidate has obtained 50% marks or equivalent, based on the latest available grades/marks. The deadline for submission of the mark sheet and the certificate is October 15 every year. Non-fulfilment of this condition will automatically result in the cancellation of the provisional admission.
- Applicants should note that the mere fulfilment of minimum eligibility criteria will not ensure consideration for shortlisting by LBSIM. Candidates must declare and maintain a valid and unique email account and a phone number throughout the selection process.
- Foreign students, PIO and NRI sponsored candidates are also eligible and are required to take the Graduate Management Aptitude Test (GMAT) at a test centre outside India.
- Indian residents who have appeared for GMAT will be required to furnish their GMAT scores while applying and should provide an attested copy of the GMAT score sheet to the Admission Office for verification at the time of personal interview. GMAT scores without the above document will not be accepted and the application may be summarily rejected
Admission Details
- Candidates are short-listed based on valid CAT/XAT/GMAT scores, prior academic performance, work experience, and other information disclosed in the Application form. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for Group Discussion, Extempore/Written Analysis Test and Personal Interview which is held during the month of February to March, every year.

College Infrastructure
Space is limited but well used.It has had well furnished classroom and lecture halls it has a gymnasium chess batting arena table tennis for sports. A library with over 25000 documents. A Bloomberg lab with 11 terminals to be in constant touch with the readings of the financial markets and a IT room for the newly set up courses of RBA. It has its own girls and boys hostel and a constant to and fro shuttle service to the nearest metro station. A hall with a seating capacity of over 350 seatings.
It is wonderful experience in the college .

College Infrastructure
All the necessary infrastructure facilities and equipment are available. The hostels have clean spaces and hygienic food. The classes are equipped with smart boards and WiFi facilities are also available.
The college is full of life

When we talk about the infrastructure of LBS,the college is well-equipped with a spacious library with over 30000 books.A reading room is also attached to the library for discussion. Designed cafeteria, gym and auditorium is also available. The hostel is off campus but the transportation facility is provided by college itself
