It is a two-year full-time program with the goal to deliver trained teachers to the country to meet the educational need of the country. The institute is allowed to take 100 students in the program in order to maintain an optimal student-teacher ratio and quality education.
The admission to the B.Ed Shiksha Shastri course shall be on the merit basis, and the same will be established based on the marks secured in the qualifying exam and/or at the entrance test. The admission could also be based on other parameters as directed by the UT administration, state government, and the affiliating university.
