Programme Specific Admission process
GNM: Laxmi Memorial College of Nursing offers general nursing midwifery with an approved number of 100 students. They take admission candidates by the outcome of 10 + 2 - science subjects test score. The ones help gain profound nursing practices grounding.
B.Sc Nursing : It is an undergraduate four-year course with 100 students at the time of admission. It will consider academic marks of respective subjects during 10+2 stage of examination. This course gives preference to the student coming from a background of biology and science as well, with physics and chemistry.
Post Basic B.Sc Nursing: This is an intake for working nurses. It has 60 intakes. The entry requirement is a GNM diploma completed with evidence of practical experience in the chosen field. Admission might be based on previous academic and work experiences.
M.Sc Nursing: Specialized M.Sc programs offered in Medical Surgical Nursing, Paediatric Nursing, Obstetrics and Gynaecological Nursing, Community Health Nursing, and Psychiatric Nursing are offered with 7 admissions for each specialty. Admission may be through B.Sc Nursing performance or an entrance test and interview.
Ph.D Programs: These include the different doctorate programs in Medical Surgical Nursing, Paediatric Nursing, Psychiatric Nursing, and Community Health Nursing the college offers at Laxmi Memorial College of Nursing.
