Lokadrusti College of Advanced Technology, Nuapada was established in the year of 2007 situated in Gadramunda, Khariar, District: Nuapada Odisha It is affiliated College. Located on a fairly small piece of ground of 2.78 acres, this institution provides a specified area of study in the field of technology. The college offers a small learning community through a total student enrolment of 312 students & faculty of staff of 4. The institute currently offers three degree programs: The IT programmes include Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA), Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) and Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Applications (PGDCA) for the students who want to forge a career in the booming field of IT.
The college has a variety of amenities aimed at the development of student education processes. There is also the campus library which is well stocked with books and other college materials to accomplish the needs of the students. To ensure practical interaction, the college has departmental labs where learners use concepts learnt in practice.
On the issue of technology, there is excellent infrastructure in information technology and this helps students to update their knowledge on current technology. For an overall development of learners, the college provides sports amenities to improve on their physical well-being and group collaboration. An auditorium is used for events and seminars that play a role in dissemination of ideas and sponsoring cultural activities. Also, to support the visiting faculty and students’ family members, the college also offer guest or waiting area to make the campus comfortable.
Lokadrusti College of Advanced Technology has only three programs that are full- time and designed to meet the need of the job market in the tech sector. The BCA is a three year course as is the B.Sc and the PGDCA is a one year programme. These ones have been developed to ensure that the students get the necessary exposures to the profession in the ever growing IT sector. The college currently takes a total of 312 students to facilitate personalized learning. Though, statistics regarding the number of graduates cannot be provided, the commitment of the college towards delivering quality education in technology related course offerings as well as in the quality infrastructure reflected through the photogallery are praiseworthy.
