LPM College of Pharmacy, Deoria Admission Process

The LPM College of Pharmacy, Deoria, is quite a young institution, to provide pharmacy education in the state of Uttar Pradesh. The college is affiliated with the regulatory authorities such as the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) and All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE) and upholds the quality in pharmaceutical education. The admission process at LPM College of Pharmacy is kept maintained simple, hassle-free, and with an open approach for every prospective pharmacy student. The two main courses under the pharmaceutical stream are the four-year Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharma) program and the two-year Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharma) program. 

Normally, the admission to LPM College of Pharmacy is conducted in collaboration with the academic calendar, with admission processes commencing in months preceding the start of the academic year.  The eligibility criteria for considering admission to B.Pharma and D.Pharma are determined according to PCI and AICTE guidelines. Typically, candidates considered eligible for B.Pharma are those who have cleared 10 + 2 with subjects of Physics, Chemistry, and either Mathematics or Biology; for D.Pharma, candidates in general ought to have passed 10 + 2 Science. Application Process

1. Advertisment: The announcement of admission will involve increasing exposure from either the website or from other media sources.

2. Application Form: Candidates can receive their application form from the campus of the college or download it from its official website.

3. Filling the Form: Applicants fill in their forms carefully with correct personal and academic details.

4. Submission of Documents: All necessary documents need to be enclosed with the application forms, examples of which would be:

  • 10 and 12 mark sheets and certificates
  • Transfer certificate from the last institution attended
  • Character certificate
  • Passport-size photos
  • Any other documents mentioned by the college

5. Submission of the Application : The completed application form with all required documents shall be ultimately submitted to the office of admissions, either in person or by post as specified by the college.

6. Application Fee: The application fees may be payable. The mode of payment and fee amount should be verified from the college.

7. Merit List Preparation: As per the performance of candidates in the academic field and in any entrance exams, if eligible, the college may prepare a merit list.

8. Counseling and Seat Allotment: Candidates shortlisted might then be called in for a counseling session for seats to be allotted according to merit and factors of availability.

Degree-wise Admission Process

B.Pharma: The Bachelor's program in Pharmacy will take 4 years to complete. The minimum qualification for admission is the 10+2 examination, where the eligibility depends on the percentage merit obtained in 10+2 along with entrance examinations conducted by the state or the national level, where applicable. The intake at the college is set at a total number of 60 for this program.

D.Pharma: The Diploma course for Pharmacy extends for 2 years. Admission proceeds according to marks earned in 10+2 examinations on the science stream. D.Pharma will also have an intake of 60 students just like the Bachelor's program.

In essence, both programs impart students with a sound teaching of fundamental concepts and practical exposure to pharmaceutical sciences. The admission procedures may comprise of merit listing accounting for the candidate's performance in the qualifying examination and any other relevant entrance tests.
