My college has excellent infrastructure, and I especially appreciate the well-equipped canteen that caters to both hostelers and day scholars. The canteen provides essential facilities, ensuring access to necessities even during emergencies. Additionally, I find it convenient that stationery items are available for students whenever needed, making campus life more comfortable.
The academics are going well. My department covers a wide range of subjects, structured in an organized manner. In my first year itself I performed well in subjects like Programming, which was combined with the Theory cum Laboratory course. I studied C programming and Python, exploring various modules and concepts that were new to me but highly relevant in today’s tech landscape.
I am moving to the next level of placement opportunities as the placement cell at our college is making significant progress in providing better opportunities for students. Compared to previous years, placements have improved, with companies like Zoho offering two positions, Mallow providing 13 offers, Deloitte extending several opportunities, and TCS offering 206 positions. Overall, many more opportunities have been secured from various recruiters.
When it comes to my college infrastructure, I can say it is developing well with numerous facilities. We have a dedicated yoga hall for practicing yoga, along with separate labs for various specializations. I efficiently make use of these labs, gaining real-time knowledge and hands-on experience.
The college curriculum is well-updated to align with current industry trends. For example, I have studied Data Science in a previous semester and am currently learning Internet Marketing, which is highly relevant to modern technology advancements.
1. The placement cell is actively expanding its reach, bringing in new companies and high-paying job offers for students. I am pleased to share that Japanese companies are offering internship opportunities, while top firms like Deloitte, HP, Infosys, and TCS are recruiting from our campus with competitive salary packages. Additionally, one of my seniors from our department secured a trainee position at Zoho.
My college has good infrastructure. In our classrooms, I have smart boards and two whiteboards, creating a dust-free environment. This setup allows students to present their ideas effectively without always needing a laptop, encouraging better interaction and communication.
The academic experience at my college has been good, particularly in my third semester when I studied “Computer Architecture and Processor”. This subject combined concepts from two departments—IT and ECE. From the IT perspective, I learned about microprocessors and various computational methods like the divide-and-conquer approach. Meanwhile, the ECE aspect covered microprocessor architecture, including diagrams of 8086 and 8085 processors.
I appreciate the efforts of our college’s placement cell, which is actively working to support students in securing job opportunities. Given the current market scenario, there is a growing demand for high-paying Japanese companies. To help students seize these opportunities, our college provides specialized training programs that equip them with the necessary skills to clear the required levels. This training ensures that I, along with other students, have a fair chance to qualify and secure jobs in renowned Japanese companies with lucrative packages.

My college is well-facilitated with excellent infrastructure. From my experience, I can say that we have a dedicated notice board where updates on events, important announcements, and other information are posted daily. The notice board is well-maintained, ensuring timely communication and easy access to the latest updates.
The academics in my college are well-structured, with all subjects aligned to the latest industry trends. I studied under the 2023 regulation, ensuring that the curriculum was updated to meet current industry standards, which I found extremely useful.
The placement cell is highly beneficial for students. For instance, in my first year, career skill development was integrated into the curriculum, allowing me to practice aptitude skills early on. In my second year, I received a week-long training in both communication and aptitude from an external company. The college ensures quality training to enhance students' career readiness.
When talking about my college infrastructure, I can say there are numerous facilities. Each classroom is equipped with a separate wall clock, a smart board for presentations, and a whiteboard for writing content which looks good and making environment more engaging and students can listen their class without any interppution which I could say confidently with my experience.
Academics at my college are well-structured, with a strong emphasis on conceptual understanding. In my first semester, I studied Universal Human Values,which provided insights into ethical and moral principles. Additionally, I had a Theorem cum Laboratory course on C Programming, which helped me develop a solid foundation in coding through both theoretical concepts and hands-on practice.
As for our college’s placement records, I would say they are quite impressive compared to other institutions. The placement process has been running smoothly, and the college offers additional advantages, such as specialized Japanese training. Notably, some of my batchmates have even secured internships with Japanese companies.
My college infrastructure is well-equipped. Our campus features special classrooms with projectors and smart TVs for an enhanced learning experience. We also have excellent transport facilities and many other amenities that add to the convenience. I am grateful for these benefits.
The college academics are fairly good at MKCE. I am currently studying Object-Oriented Modeling (OOM), which has been quite helpful, along with Database Management Systems (DBMS) papers in my current semester, teaching staff are more support. The overall sitting arrangement is also well-organized.
I believe that the placement cell at our college provides decent support for students. I have observed that there is a dedicated department for placements, along with guidance from IBM staff and other industry professionals who assist students in securing opportunities with good packages. While I recognize that the process has its challenges, I am confident that these continuous efforts will improve placement outcomes and help students achieve success in their careers.
At MKCE, I can say the infrastructure is well-equipped with numerous facilities. The college organizes annual events and inter-college competitions, providing students with opportunities to showcase their talents. Based on my experience, I participated in an event called Codefest, where I demonstrated my coding skills and won a prize. I appreciate the college for organizing such events that encourage students to excel.
The overall academic experience at MKCE is good, and I find it beneficial as the college has well-known and experienced professors who ensure effective teaching. They regularly seek feedback from students regarding their performance and teaching methods, allowing me and others to share our thoughts and improve our learning experience. This feedback mechanism helps enhance understanding, making interactions more engaging and beneficial.
The placement cell at MKCE is dedicated to enhancing students’ career opportunities. Many seniors from our department have secured placements in reputed companies, reflecting the college’s strong efforts in preparing students for the industry. While some students are still in the process, the college continues to provide unwavering support to ensure more students get placed. I feel proud to say that MKCE is committed to shaping successful careers, and I truly appreciate its dedication.
I find our college infrastructure to be well-equipped with essential facilities. We have reliable transport services, ATM facilities, and a well-structured academic block that provides a conducive learning environment. The classrooms are well-maintained, featuring high-speed internet access. Additionally, I appreciate the dedicated PT room and several other amenities that enhance the overall campus experience.
To say about my curriculum, I find it well-structured and framed through the collaboration of three colleges. The regulations ensure a strong foundation, as we get to learn C programming, Java programming, and Python programming by the end of our third semester. This approach provides me with an early and comprehensive understanding of programming languages, which I find highly beneficial.

Today, a festival called "HackFest25" was organized, attracting students from all over India,The hackathon,sponsered by IBM with a cash prize,offered us valuable insights into competitive programming and algorithmic problem-solving.
The curriculum at MKCE is well-structured to benefit students by progressively introducing advanced subjects each semester. For, instance ,in my coursework ,I studied Data Structures ,covering concepts like BFS,DFS and graph algorithms
From my experience as a student, the colleges placement opportunites are decent, considering the current challenges in the IT industry ,where many companies are downsizing. Even so ,I have observed that our college is making commendable efforts to place students in reputable companies
I find the infrastructure of our college to be well-organized, with separate blocks designated for different purposes. We have an academic block for studies, a hostel mess for dining, and the Olympiad block for associate work. Additionally, the Olympiad block also serves as a gym facility. For first-year students, there is a dedicated block to accommodate their needs as they begin their academic journey.
The college academics are progressing smoothly as per the curriculum. In my second semester, I studied the “Basics of Engineering” subject, which covered three major departments: Electrical, Mechanical, and Civil. In Electrical, I learned about circuits and machines, including how to connect a circuit. In Mechanical, I explored various machines, while in Civil, I studied surveying concepts. This subject provided me with foundational knowledge across these core engineering disciplines.
The placement cell at MKCE is well-regarded for its efforts in preparing students for recruitment. In my third semester, I studied career skill development through the department’s curriculum. Currently, in my second paper, I am focusing on aptitude and communication skills, which are significantly helping me enhance my employability and prepare for placement opportunities.
The fees of M.Kumarasamy College of Engineering for ECE is approximately INR 4.2 lac for a full time 4 year B.Tech course. This fees includes the hostel fees.
