MIT Muzzafarpur(civil):

The college is good and it gives a good percentage of placements in civil Engineering.Top recruiting companies include Johnson Cement,Magadh steel,Prism etc.College offers internships to students and faculties are quite helpful. It provides an amazing Infrastructure and a good surrounding to study.

Electronics in iiit Bhubaneshwar:It provides almost 90-95 % placements and all are from big companies like DELL,Infosys,Tech Mahindra etc.Faculties are too good and helpful. The study environment is good and placement records are too decent in this college.

So,According to my opinion you should go for electronics in IIIT Bhubaneshwar.

All the best!!

Hello Saleenad!

Please keep in mind that getting a good SAT score doesn't guarantee the fact that you will get into MIT. You have to go through phases of hard interviews to ensure you get into MIT. Nearly 50% of the candidates that appear SAT have a 1400+/1600 score — so scoring in SAT is not like writing the JEE which guarantees a spot in top IITs/NITs/GFTIs based on a good score/rank. Moreover, International awards as in science fairs, Olympiad medals, etc. play a crucial role in your transcript if you want to get top universities like MIT , Harvard, and other Ivy League universities.

If you are dropping a year for preparing for JEE, there is no use to beat around the bush to get MIT because preparing for JEE means you must aim for a seat in IIT. If you want to ensure if there is any problem if you drop to prepare to get MIT, then it is a question that must be directly asked to the admission office of MIT. You must have noticed that very meritorious students like Chirag Falor(Jee Main rank 1) got into MIT this year for his undergrad studies. You need staunch letters of recommendation for building your transcript too and have to qualify in the interview apart from just scoring a high score in SAT.

Hope this answer helps you get a better insight! All the best for your future endeavors:)

Hello,For MIT the closing rank is

CS-516,IT-1975,ECE-2323

For SSN

CS-900,IT-2175,ECE-2259

You have high chances of getting ECE comparing the last year trend and also this year cut off is further expected to go down due to new syllabus.Best wishes.

Hello!

There are Chances for you to get CEG or MIT campus, but there are less chances for you to get a CSE seat as they are heavily demanding course from both the colleges. But you can definitely get other courses. It is not like you will not get a Computer Science Engineering seat at all, it is just like you will have a heavy competition for that particular course. Wishing you all the best, hope you get the desired course as well as college. Hope the answer was helpful.

Thank You

Hello Aspirant,

Yes, you can get MIT cse, but it would be a little tough as the rush is more this time.

Lets hope for the best, wish you all luck.

Hope it helps!

hello aspirant ,

On the basis of facility i will suggest you to go for CEG.

CEG's canteen and mess are definitely better....You would like CEG more if you are a city brought up esp chennai....
If you hail from south tamilnadu, or from a Tamil medium school, u would invariably like MIT.....

Academically MIT lost all its advantages over CEG over time slowly... Now either they are on par or CEG is better....

hope you got your answer.

Good luck :)
