This Rural Quota is given under each and every category ranging from General Merit rural to Scheduled Caste Rural. As you have not mentioned this hence i am mentioning below that category only through which you could get MIT.

I think you can get Civil as last year the closing rank for GMW was around 1 lakh.

All the best!!

By this TANCET score, you can definitely get into any of the college irrespective of your desired branch. You can surely get aerospace engineering at madras institute of technology after scoring a high mark of 72.5. Wait for the admission counselling and apply for  it.

Hello Aspirant,

According to the list of top engineering colleges in India published by HRD ministry of India VIT stands at 13th position with all NITs except NIT Trichi (12th place) behind it.

So it is now official that VIT is better than all NITs except NIT trichi.

If you are not getting a IIT or NIT Trichi or BITs Pilani then it is highly advisable to join VIT University.

VIT offers 100% placements to its students and the average package is 4-5 lakhs for non CS-IT branches and 6-7 lakhs for CS-IT (It is a rough estimate as VIT never discloses the avg. pacakge kind of things).

Maximum package can go as far as 25-30 lakhs (Totally depends on you).

Cultural fests of VIT are very good namely GRAVITas and Riviera.(You will feel it when you join here).

VIT is like an island with all possible things you can even think of present on Campus(Don't go on the names of brands as brands famous in South India are different from those in North India ,However quality is same.)

Charisma of VIT is undoubtedly very high as you get to do internship in MICROSOFT , FORD and other giants, you get to build your own cars there are more then 13-14 team are building their own cars(you get a chance to race your cars in USA and Germany).

You can choose your professor, class timing ,subject and everything.

And the most important thing campus is beautiful like heaven (More beautiful than images on google.)

One suggestion: Choose special mess if you are planning to join it.

Hello shiva , according to previous year the closing rank of cse in manipal is around 2000 or less than  so the answer of your question is NO.

THANK YOU

STAY SAFE

Hello Ssp!

For BTECH in CSE, I think what matters the most is exposure which comes from industry-academia collaboration. So in terms of companies visited lets compare both collages.

MIT ADT placement records: Every year the college welcomes above 300 companies and that too reputable companies. Also majority of students have secured jobs in well reputed MNC’s.

as an average MIT is better for placements as more number of people get placements with average package

so in my opinion MIT ADT is better to choose.

Thankyou!

Hope it helps!

Hello,

There is high possibility to get as your score is eligible for 1st tier college. Branch stream is assigned as per your UG degree stream. to get MTech in Aerospace, you have to be Btech/BE aerospace graduate. you can't opt for any other degree specialization stream.

You should apply for the college option. as of current situation and delayed process of education, it will effect a lot to the whole process structure and it may not be same as it is used to be. So this is going to be new so there can be change in cutoff. Do apply and give one college option as security.  Look out for government college option too. You will get one easily on the basis of your score.

Hope it helps!

Hello,
To really do your Masters and PhD from Ivy league University, you really need to prepare from your initial years of your college in Bachelor's
For exams, you need to appear for either TOEFL or IELTS to prove your English efficiency. Also you need to appear for GRE exam. These are international level exams. You need to prepare a lot.
Also, please try to do a lot of projects in you college and also try to publish atleast one research paper. Please try to improve your skills and do some research work. Try to do Internship so as to prove your efficiency.
Also, at the time of admission, you need to submit atleast two letters of recommendation from reputed professors. Your voluntary work also matters for admission.

Hope it helps

Hello.
If your mentioned rank is of MET exam, then with 14k rank u have good chances of getting admission in electrical and electronics engineering branch in MIT Karnataka, since the prediction is on the basis of the previous year record it may definitely vary according to the fluctuations this year, along with this you have more chances of getting into other campus with other branches but  chances with top branches are less.
Best of luck.

hi,

see in tanca counselling first preferences goes for gate score holders, then remaining seats would be fills by tancet score holders. now see the cutoff score depends on certain factors like number of participants, seats matrix, questions difficulty level, students category, choice of stream etc. so it is quite difficult to predict college just based on percentile course.

however I would suggest you to participate in the counselling process and lets see whats come around.

you may follow the below link to know about last year cutoff score,
