Hi,
Well I must tell you that it is vey important for students to give SAT or ACT to take admission in US colleges and universities. Even if the university mentions that it is optional, still you should give it. You can register for ACT or SAT after your high school and can given the exam and send the scores to the colleges where you will be applying for admission. I too have ACT.
The entrance test to be cleared for getting admission into MITID is known as DAT (Design Aptitude Test). The exam pattern is such that there would be both subjective and objective questions in the exam.Besides this, there is no clear pattern on the number and type of questions.
There are two phases for MIT entrance test.
Phase 1 : Written exam for 100 marks for 3 hours.
The DAT tests each students ability in Design Problem Solving, Visual Sense,Observation &Perception, Mental Ability, Communication Skills, and Environmental Awareness through a range of visual and textual questions.Based on the scores obtained in this test, the qualified and short listed candidates are called for the second phase.
Phase 2 : Consists of Studio test, Personel Interview, Portfolio presentation.
The studio test consists of three parts- doodling, 3D modelling, observation tests. The second phase is conducted at the MITID campus at Pune. Candidates clearing the studio test and personel interview can then secure admission at MITID in Bdes and Mdes programs offered by it.
All the Best!!
dear Aspirant,
Becoming a professor in these colleges is not a simple task. You need to be qualified enough to apply to these institutes. Qualifications varies from masters to PHDs to research papers. Some posts require work experience too. For example in AIIMS the required qualification is Fourteen years teaching and/or research experience in recognized institution in subject specialty after obtaining of M.D./M.S.
Hope this helps. Thank you.
