You have a decent rank in TANCET ME 2019. But since you belong to OC category your chances of making into government colleges like MIT, CEG etc. PSG is one of the top colleges and since not only the TANCET candidates but GATE candidates are also competing it might be difficult o make the cut. Leaving that you have a good chance. Be hopeful.

Congratulations on this good score in Tancet. But unfortunately, this score is not enough to obtain a seat in MIT or CEG as both of these colleges expect higher cut off in Tancet. DUe to the level of competitions, these seats are fastly filled by the top cut off rank holders itself, hence it is better to lookout for other colleges in order to have a assured admission.

I would to tell you tha you have a decent rank in TANCET 2019. See to be honest your rank is a bit too high for getting into Madras Institute of Technology as it is one top and reputed colleges under Anna University. But still you will be able to get good colleges. So don't worry.

Congratulations for securing such a good rank. With this rank you have a great chance of getting into any of the colleges. You have a great chance of getting CEG also. Try your luck and sit for the counselling. Since the cutoff changes every year, due to paper difficulty level, no of students appearing for the exam and counselling, and no of seats in the college, the cutoff vary every year. So hope for the best. Hope you get your desired college and branch.

As you mention your rank with this it is difficult to get colleges like an IT Anna University another top colleges if you are from open but if you are from reserved category you can try there and go there till last round of counselling

See you have a decent rank in TANCET 2019. You might find it difficult to get into CEG with Mechanical Engineering there as the seats are filled first there. You have a chance in the other two but the trends change every year so be hopeful.

As you  mention your rank ...with this rank it is difficult to get colleges like MIT,CEG easily.. but you can get other good colleges which you can get easily with you rank..

As you have got a seat in MIT college than you can definitely join in that college.Though you have got a seat in SRIT but its all upto you that which college you want to join.But don't make it too late.Hope you have not submitted your certificates in SRIT college.
