As we look at the previous years cut-off it is seen that the opening and closing rank for madras medical college was 255 and 755 respectively for last year for general category. 783-979 for obc and 6533-12242 for the reserved category.
As the competition is increasing every year it is expected that this year also the cut off will hike up. So in order to lock a seat in this governement college you need scare a safe number which may be around 650-670 and above.

However, to enrol in the best government colleges - to obtain access with 15% For state quota seats, you should aim for 550+ marks in the NEET test, and for all-India quota seats, you should aim for 600+ marks.

There is no need of NEET for physiotherapy, Direct entry after 12th is possible….

No, class 12 marks are not taken into account for admission into medical/dental colleges. However, the following is the minimum marks required for admission-
Candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English as core subjects from a recognized board.
Class 12 or equivalent appearing aspirants are also eligible to apply for NEET
The class 12 percentage required for NEET 2022 exam is separate for each category and can be listed as under. NEET eligibility marks in class 12 to be considered are aggregate marks only for PCB subjects
UR - 50%,
OBC/SC/ST - 40%,
PWD - 45%
There is no particular score required to take admission, you must qualify NEET. Through All India Quota, the General category candidates must score 650+ to get into a government college, SC candidates must score 550+, OBC and EWS candidates' safe score is 630+

Infrastructure was very good in terms of clinical resources and patient inflow.Hostel was not upto the mark in the first year which was later rectified when a new hostel building was opened..College and library had everything we could ask for
The college infrastructure is not upto the mark and it doesn’t have proper campus. The college in general is clean and have decent hygienic conditions. The classrooms are very congested for a strength of 250 students.
