Degrees-wise Admission Process
B.Ed: The Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) program at Mahabir College of Education for Women has an approved intake of 200 students. All admissions for B.Ed are taken through online counseling. This application of online counseling has ensured a fair and transparent selection process for aspiring students. Therefore, all prospective candidates have to undergo online counseling for admission into B.Ed program.
M.Ed: The admission process of Mahabir College for the Master of Education (M.Ed) program consists of two steps, the first of which is that the candidate is directed to participate in the online counseling process. Then, from the shortlist, candidates will proceed for the entrance examination. The final selection of candidates for M.Ed will therefore depend on performance in the online counseling and the entrance exam. This thorough going process ensures that students are evaluated on academic background and then on the potentiality of the applicants.
D.Ed: The admissions for Diploma in Education (D.Ed)-program are handled through an online counseling process. The online counseling is, however, different from that of B.Ed and M.Ed programs since for D.Ed, it is managed directly by the State Council of Education Research and Training, Gurgaon (SCERT Haryana, Gurgaon). This independent management on processing the admissions would ensure standardization and fairness across all institutions running D.Ed in the region.
