Degree wise Admission Process
B.Sc Nursing: The college takes in about 100 students every admission season for the B.Sc Nursing program, which is a four-year undergraduate course whose admission eligibility is based on the individual candidate's performance in the 10+2 examination, for which Physics, Chemistry, and Biology are mandatory subjects. This four-year program has a total fee structure of Rs. 286,000.
Post Basic B.Sc Nursing: The program spans two years, during which it admits students up to a maximum of 30. Candidates who have completed their GNM (General Nursing and Midwifery) are eligible to apply. In some cases, performance in the GNM program may also factor into the final decisions. The total fee for this course is Rs. 130,000.
M.Sc Nursing: For this degree course, the college has reserved 30 seats, with five specialities available in M.Sc Nursing, namely: Medical Surgical Nursing, Community Health Nursing, Paediatric Nursing, Psychiatric Nursing, and Obstetrics and Gynaecology Nursing. Each specialization has 6 seats. Admission is primarily based on the merit attained in the B.Sc Nursing course and may also involve an entrance test or interview. The amount of total fee for the M.Sc Nursing is Rs. 182,000.
Ph.D Nursing: The college also offers an advanced research program in Nursing, namely, the Ph.D. Consequently, admission may have a much stricter selection process for this advanced research program, which may include an interview and assessment of the candidate's research proposal. For this program, the number of seats and fees has not been detailed.
