Mahatma Gandhi College, Purulia was founded in 1981 as a affiliated college at Daldali, Lalpur, Purulia, West Bengal, India. This institution is spread over a campus of 10 acres, offering a number of undergraduate programs. The NAAC-accredited college had 2,577 students in the institution, with a balanced sex ratio of 53% male and 47% female. It has strength of 23 faculty members and 19 courses under five degree programs that are specialised in arts, commerce, and science disciplines.
