Hey Manasa N,

To get Admission at CBIT your All india rank in CBIT your all India rank in JEE mains must be below 1,30,000 then you have maximum chances to get seat in the Chaitanya Bharathi Institute Of Technology , Hyderabad. Your Category rank is not valid for B.Category admission. The B category admission notification will be given through the college official webistes or telugu leading news papers articles. So, mostly you need to check the news papers everyday and the official Chaitanya bharathi college website for notification regulary, i’ve already given the official college website below, and however you are not eligible for 35,000/- Fee reimbursements. The tution fee for CBIT is 2,00,000/-.  CBIT is absolutely best in terms of placements and facilties and faculty as this college is rated as AAAA by Careers360 and ranked at 100 by NIRF MHRD Government of India. This college provides both girls and boys hostel. The placements are also best in this college as this college is Telangana‘s no.1 private engineering college. The highest salary package is around 20 lakhs per annum. The top companies that visit this college Are Amazon, Infosys, TCS, Accenture, L&T and many more . The college official website is given below

It seems that your rank is very much lagging but still you have chances of gettin the branch and college you want. Now tlking about MGIT, the last year cutoff for CS was around 40000 for scheduled tribe so there are less chsnces according to the rank you have mentioned here. And it is also difficult to get into MVSR as well. So I would suggest you to try your luck for the above college also for the other colleges also. The link is given below for both the institutes where you can find out the information and cut off marks and rank in detail.

Hello aspirant
As you are aware that vnr and mgit are the top engineering colleges in hyderabad and as well as in telangana.
The seat process in this college is based on 2 types one is through eamcet and other is through jeemain and ipe score.
For the b category there will be a notification in local news papers during the time of regular eamcet counselling and there will be a seperate counselling for these people.
The jee rank you got is above 2lakh expected for your percentile based on my experience is nearly 90k to 100k so it is hard to get into this colleges also into the core branches like cse ece eee as they have huge competition and getting into these branches you need to have some good caste reservation with high rank or some low rank around 35k so you have little chances to get in to this college with your score and it seats are mostly filled by low rank
No need to worry once you apply for the seat through b category and try to get in to the non core branches as they are also good options based on your score and your situation.
For your kind information about the fee structure in cbit that when you get into these through b category then you will not get any fee reimbursement and you need to pay total tution fee and some other miscellaneous fee and hostel fee seperate.
If you got some good rank in eamcet also you can get into it better you try some other top ten colleges like vasavi snist mvsr vardhman
So be wise while choosing the seats during the time of counselling.
Hope my answer may a little piece of advice to you and helps in your seat getting.
The comment box below is always open for you.
All the best.

MGIT is really good in terms of infrastructure and transportation, you'll enjoy the years of your graduation there. Vardhman offers the same too, but is more strict and disciplinary actions are taken against defaulters.

If we talk about the placement pattern of both the colleges, Vardhman has a better placement record in the previous years.

All the best!

Hi there you rank is unlikely less to get admission in cbit. As per previous year cutoff closing rank for CS was 25000 whereas for IT 50k and for mechanical 40k. Yes you can apply for other colleges it will more good if you apply through  therir state exam i.e eamcet.

Good luck!

HI,

Its not possible to get transfers ,futher you can ask the managament department of the college if they can help you with it
