MLCP has a wide range of pharmacy courses at the diploma, undergraduate, and postgraduate levels.
MLCP adopts the ranks of Andhra Pradesh Engineering Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test (AP EAMCET).Candidates for the B.Pharma are expected to have completed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics or Biology as essential subjects.
MLCP adopts the basis for selection is the rank secured at AP PGECET (Andhra Pradesh Post Graduate Engineering Common Entrance Test). The entrance examination is conducted around the May-June months with the declaration of results by July. With regard to M.Pharma specialization, the candidates are required to hold the B.Pharma degree of any university recognised by the Pharmacy Council of India. The D.Pharma candidates should have passed 10+2 in science subjects.

The B.Pharma course at MLCP has an approved intake of 60 seats. MLCP admission is done based on the merit score obtained by the candidate in AP EAMCET. Eligible candidates must have passed the 10+2 examination with either Physics, Chemistry, and Maths or Biology. The candidate's performance in AP EAMCET will determine their rank for allocation of seats by state authority counselling.
MLCP offers two specialisations in M.Pharma Pharmaceutics and Pharmaceutical Analysis. Each discipline has an approved seat intake of 24. MLCP admissions are strictly through AP PGECET. An eligible candidate must possess a B.Pharm degree from any recognised university. Again, the final MLCP admission selection may depend on a combination of results: score in entrance, academic merit in B.Pharma, and/or additional requirements from the concerned college or affiliating university.
The D.Pharma course at MLCP approved intake is 60. MLCP admission grants for the Diploma are usually based on candidates' merit as per their qualifying examinations.
