General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) is a three-year full-time diploma program offered by the Punjab Nurses Registration Council, Chandigarh, and approved by the Indian Nursing Council (INC).


Eligibility Criteria

  1. The minimum age for Admission will be 17 years on or before 31st Dec. of the year. The upper age limit is 35 years.
  2. The minimum Qualification 12th class passed with any stream for GNM.
  3. Those who have cleared the 12th vocational ANM course from the school are recognized by the Indian Nursing Council.
  4. ANM diploma holders can also opt for GNM courses.
  5. Admission of students shall be once a year.
  6. The student shall be medically fit.

The admission selection is under PNRC norms.
