my experience has been a mix of learning, discipline, and growth the campus is peaceful and well maintained which creates a good environment for studies. mvsr is a good if you’re focused career minded and make the best of the resources offered
The collage spread over approximately 30 acrs featuring large grounds , modern accadamic infrastructure it offers well ventilated class rooms aquiped with projecters , free campus wide WiFi and modern research labs and seminar hall , a sizable library computer center and access to digital resources like NPTEl and spoken totorial are available . Onsite hostel facilities a canteen ,banking,ATM ,Medical services are provided.
Placements at MVSR are overall satisfactory especially for the students from CSE and IT departments. Most placements are through mass recruiters like Infosis,WiPro,Cognizant,TCs. Highest package in the collage is 12LPA for the students with CGPA 9.8, the average package is ₹4.5L PA to ₹6L PA
The fee structure is relatively affordable compare to private engineering collages .Over all cost for a btect at MVSR ranges from 6 to 7 lakhs over 4 years which is competitive for private collages in telangana.
Collage is decent but not very vibrant, the collage has spacious campus with greenary and clean surroundings Cultural and technical fest are organised like Athlema ( sports fest ) Aakruti ( Anual day ) . There are some clubs related to coding, robotics and innovation, but students engagement is moderate
great for academics ,and a peaceful environment , socially active
Infrastructure is decent. Labs have all the equipment required for the curriculum but some are worn out. Computer Labs have very old computers and slow processors. Classrooms are equipped with projectors.
The syllabus is mostly outdated. Very less focus on the skills which industry demands and currently used in the industry. Quality of teaching needs to be improved. Teaching methodology is mostly confined to the classroom teaching.
Very poor placements in the core departments. Most the placements are in the sector of IT. In civil engineering packages of 15-20k/month with a bond of 1-2 years were offered mostly. The placements of core departments were mostly ignored.
No value for money in core departments as you hardly get placed, if you're placed you join because it doesn't make sense to work 15-20k/month in Chennai after spending 1.5L/annum on your engineering.
Decent canteen. 16-acre mostly green campus. Good Library with good amount of books in all the subjects and departments. Good place to sit and study too. The reference section is also a great place to visit.
Don't go for civil/mechanical engineering in this college
the infrastructure, facilities and equipment everything was good. we have many facilities like internet, labs, cultural hubs, libraries has lot of books, we even have smart boards. everything is well maintained. food is hygienic.
I am doing my civil engineering. the reason why I took this branch is because I am interested in construction works. the curriculum is updated and includes all the recent developments in the field. yes, the study makes me job-ready with some efforts.
the placements are good. almost 70%-80% are getting placed every academic year. the highest salary package offered is 30LPA its from computer science engineering. the average salary offered is 7.5LPA.
College is neat and clean, good ambience, big playground but classroom infrastructure is not good and poor bench quality. They are not providing good computers for lab sessions . It's very hard to compile programs on slow computers. But in other labs we have good new computer
I am studying ece .... Facilities teaching is good and helpful.. mvsr now hs become autonomous and hence curriculum has changed a little bit but it is not applicable for us. They are even providing library facilities to improve more knowledge.
Now mvsr is autonomous college... It has very good placement... Big big companies like Capgemini.. TCS.. Infosys... Sambytes.. and many more has come to college to requirement college students. Average slary is 5 lakh per anum .
I am paying 1,31,000 per year . I feel It is not worthy because due to this COVID we are studying online
I went to college in first and third year ... We enjoy a lot in college we learn from each other...
Nothing
MVSR is a huge campus with all the necessary facilities. It has a serviceable library, transport facility, a sports club and other facilities. It has a boys hostel which is a 5-minute walk from the college. Classrooms areof medium size, 60 students can fit easily. Each classroom has a black board with projector attached to it. The classrooms are cleaned daily by the cleaners so it is a quite clean environment to study in. College canteen serves only hygienic vegetarian food.
Academics are quite good. Staff members are highly experienced and qualified. I'm currently in B.E. 1st year Information Technology. So far i have no complaints regarding the academics. Ofcourse the curriculum is updated and has newly introduced few extra subjects like Environmental Studies and Indian Constitution. During the 1st sem, we had campus recruitment training which makes has job-ready. Overall the academic section is satisfactory.
Our college allots a mentor to each student to help go through the process of placements and training. Out of the eligible students, around 70-80% gets placed with highest package 8LPA and average package of 4LPA and the lowest 2.5LPA. Usually computer science group gets placed with the highest salary.
Since I'm from IT sector, my first year course costed me around Rs. 1,03,500. And it is worth it.
Our campus had open gates till last year but unfortunately they made it closed gate which is very sad. It feels like we are still in schooling age. There is no lot of freedom to bunk for the freshers but extra curricular activities are great. Fests are organised at least twice an year. It is mandatory for each student to join some of the other club like dance, music, dramatics etc. Most of the teachers are quite strict. It is located at the outskirts. But yes it can handle emergency situations.
Overall, you will have a great Btech life in MVSR. It has become a little strict but it is really good in terms of academics and activities.
Hi aspirant the allotment of an student will be analysed by the cut off given by the specific college to the government portal now government has all college cutoff . Authorities will analyse the student rank by the means of all reservation category and the matched college will be provided
