College Infrastructure
As a Statistics Honours student at Maulana Azad College, the infrastructure experience is a pretty decent blend of vintage charm and modern upgrades. Yes, the main building is colonial and carries that “heritage” vibe — beautiful from the outside, but a little worn inside in some places. However, don’t let that fool you — the Science Block, where most of the Stats department classes and labs are held, is way more updated. There are air-conditioned classrooms and labs, which honestly makes a big difference during those humid Kolkata days. The computer lab is air-conditioned, and has systems equipped with essential software like R, SPSS, Python, and others used in practicals. The machines work fine for academic needs, though occasional technical hiccups can happen when everyone’s logged in. Classrooms are clean, fairly spacious, and decently maintained. Not all of them are smart classrooms, but some do have projectors and digital boards. Wi-Fi exists — usable, not blazing fast. The library is good, with a solid collection of statistics and mathematics books, though it's often crowded during exam time. Overall, the infrastructure is surprisingly good for a government college — not five-star, but definitely solid and improving every year.

College Infrastructure
The college has a very good infrastructure, From top to bottom. The classes are well equipped with projectors and easily functional as smart classrooms. Other Departments are well equipped with necessary components of rhe respective subjects.
It's a great college for studying and also to have fun.

Just Fabulous and Aesthetic The building itself has a lot of history. Located near the heart of Central Kolkata, Esplanade, it's very near to Esplanade metro. It has recently been credited A+ college by NAAC. Zoology department is finest with all upgraded labs and technology.

Maulana Azad College is one of the famous colleges in Kolkata. Here the academic quality are very good and as it is affiliated by CU the curriculum is good as well as challenging. If you want to join Zoology course then you can prefer Maulana Azad College without any doubt. The college will leave you with no complains and you will get quality education from the institution.
As you are enrolling under CU be cautious in your studies. Because scoring in CU is tough in year systems and now it has become a bit easy but still its hard for scoring.
