Strictly on merit, admission is done by Meerut International Institute of Teachers, Meerut according to marks obtained in the qualifying examination and/or an entrance examination by the candidates. Meerut International Institute of Teachers admission procedures have the maximum compliance with the admission policies of the state government to uphold high standards in selecting students.
D.El.Ed (Diploma in Elementary Education)
Eligibility Criteria: Completion of 10+2 Examination, minimum 50% marks required and ensures solid academic background for teaching profession.
The D.El.Ed programme at the Meerut International Institute of Teachers, Meerut, aims to prepare students for the profession of teaching students at the elementary level. The process of selection into that very programme is based on merit, and the qualifications of the candidate in the qualifying (10+2) examination and the entrance examination, where possible, are used to determine merit. This two-year-full-time course is available to only 100 students at MIIT. These eligibility parameters mandate applicants to have passed the 10+2 exam with a minimum of 50 percent marks.
