So all those who are looking forward to take admission in Miranda House this is for them and particularly for Non- Delhi students who are dreaming to study in DU. Our college infrastructure is awesome like a big campus with lots of greenery. All facilities are available except AC There is no AC in Library and auditorium also ( cons). Apart from that classes are good .you will get an aesthetic vibe there . Library is colossal and canteen is outstanding ( clean and hygienic ) Gym is also there.
I am pursuing BA program in economics+ history and eco is my major.i want to do my pg in economics and then I will be sitting for government exams. I will not say teachers are excellent but some are good some are not . college provide every subject included in NEP .I believe that doing BA doesn't provide you job directly.you will have to study for 5-6 years then something fruitful will happen. And also what I know college placements in my course are negligible.
I am a first year student so not aware much .but as per my knowledge there is negligible college placement for BA program students..this fact is known by all Mirandian as all the BA students are here to do civil services or to crack any other government exams.
My first year fees was 14980/- . Though it is affordable but the living cost in Delhi is much high .If you can make into hostel with your cuet score then there is no tension but if you are going to reside in pgs or flats then you will have to think twice . I believe that it is worthy to come here as the college life which I dreamt is getting fulfilled. There is a lot of diversity in its students, teachers and delhi residents also . You will learn a lot . Most of the colleges of DU are good .
Our college campus is fantastic. Best thing- huge campus+ lot of societies and events+ exposure. Canteen is good . Worst - only thing which I didn't like is that there is no AC in Library and auditorium...so don't expect in classrooms..the teachers, students and staff is very supportive but college staff is a bit lazy .. North campus is safe but I will suggest no to go out at night ..north campus vibes are there. You will love to explore places in Delhi.. Important thing - hostel don't have AC..
One important thing is don't come with expectations..it will hurt you a lot .. if you think that you will get college life as shown in movies then don't as you will have to sacrifice and struggle a lot . I am from Lucknow so you can understand how the environment is there here you will get a pg room or hostel then you have to tolerate a lot of things.. You have to manage everything by yourself.. it is said that those who can survive in Delhi can survive anywhere in India. I hope it helped you .
the college infrastructure is great with a lavish green environment. A great library section with DRCs i.e. Digital Room correction (my favourite place) and a great great great common place for group and self study. The greenary has your heart and the ambience your soul.
Indeed, no faculty can have all great people but at a macro level, in Miranda, yes it is, a faculty with tremendously outstanding. After the NEP implementation, the courses have become even more holistic with side courses for skill development (sec) , value enhancement( vac), and ability enhancement(aec)
It offers a good placement with an average placement salary of 6.81 lakhs to a man of more than 12 lakhs .The placement cell of miranda holds a completely different prestige. So, if you do well you always have the chance of being at the best places
Miranda being completely funded by the government has a very minimal charge for admission and education. It further offers a fee waiver and scholarships if needed. The money spent is completely worth.
It has got a great sprawling campus as already mentioned. It also easy to find a staying place around. The college itself organises several event which the students can be a part of. The seniors out here are very supportive along with professors and staff with cordial behaviour and conduct.
If you get it, go for it.It's totally worth.
The environment of this college is top notch. The college has a great learning atmosphere, with all the necessary infrastructure. Has good air conditioned classrooms, hostel facilities and a very peaceful library. Everything is very well maintained and is fore-mostly clean. The water tanks and the canteen is pretty much hygienic and serves the students with the best of all the services.
I’m pursuing BA Music Honours in Hindustani Classical Music (Vocal). The cultural society is extremely influential to celebrate various forms of art and cultures. There’s a healthy atmosphere of learning wherein each one can feel competitiveness in a great manner. The curriculum is designed in such a manner that it matches the pace of the recent developments in the field. It’s all set for every candidate to be job ready.
The college has a great provision in terms of placements. It offers a wide range of packages which starts from the highest bet itself. As of 2022, the highest package offered is about 6.49 LPA .Every year 85% of students are placed with quite the best salary package. Mostly, the Bsc,Msc,various arts and social sciences courses make up to it. The average package offered is about 6.49 LPA. The process is usually simple. Yes, the college has always been supportive!
The course cost is round about ₹14,560 every year. Yes, it’s totally worth it. The faculty and the facilities is undoubtedly amazing. The exposure offered in the course is good. So, yes it is worth the cost.
The college campus is one of the most peaceful and green campuses of the university. It’s serene inside and very well maintained. There are magnificent fests being held which gives the students a sense of joy and exposure to the great culture and events. There are societies for each and every field which strives for the best of their capabilities in each one of their respective fields. There’s always a ray of enhancement in every event the college holds. The location is 10/10 and is safe.
The college is doing a real great job in managing the students so well and providing them with the possible best always! It’s thriving and is hustling.
yes it's infrastructure is much better I totally appreciate it , all facilities are available there and also equipment are of better quality. All classrooms are air conditioned , laboratories are also good and well maintained
I am studying bsc physics honours there and I am fresher but I had not seen the quality of teaching but I think that it will be very good . Yes , I think my curriculum is updated and includes all the recent developments in the field . Yes my study make me ready for job
I think the quality of placement in my College is much better but I am new student there that's why I have no information about what percentage of students get placed. Yes this College is literally supportive
I am first year student of course bsc physics honours and the cost of my course for this year is around 19,000 which is much better . Yeah, I feel like I am getting my money`s worth cause it's not too much
College campus is literally brilliant I like all the facilities there like infrastructure, laboratories, classrooms, environment and many more thingss and from what I had seen there I will not say that anything is worst there .
No I don't want to add too much I just want to say that I like everything there today's my first day I enjoyed there . There was very friendly nature of everyone . I am feeling to be a student of such a brilliant college.
Best college ever good college with beat faculty and competitive environment good college anf best faculty ever good playground and effective study environment so students come up with best ideas and innovations.
This is outstanding college with great and experienced teachers around. And has good climate with best infrastructure. There are groups activities and competitive environment. Best library with many books around. Sports Complex is there. And many teachers with great experience of knowledge.
Hi everyone this is good college but you should study in better environment to come up and gain momentum to uplift the achievement you ever found and get to know so classy and real time of offences to request
The college infrastructure apart from being disaster resilient and full of aesthetic vibe, it has well maintained provisions for helping out the differently abled students. The canteens have a variety of delicacies and so one is not bored of limited choices.
Currently I'm studying BA Political Science hons. There teachers are very experienced and enthusiastic to provide their insights on the subject. Plus the professors always encourage to go beyond what is taught and get hold of multidimensional aspects of everything.
I have been a member of the placement cell in Miranda House. It had been a great experience having to coordinate with different venture and getting a tip to go with the corporate world. The placement cell, time and again provides opportunity for diversified internships.
1.Good faculty wifi system 2.Good and clean washrooms. 3.lifts system 4. Not all but some classes have ac 4. Well furnished classroom 5. Tennis court, basketball court, netball court , 6.smart boards are also there
1. Nirf ranking 1 2. Naac A++ ranking among all colleges. 3. Well experienced staff 4. All updated syllabus and curriculum 5. I think that their is a reason why this college is marked as among one of the top colleges in the country, the teachers are so well trained that they not only impact our studies but also our mental development.
College is the topmost college in the country. It has a rank of 1 in Nirf ranking of colleges. It has received naac a++ ranking recently. The most popular courses ofthis college is pol sc. Hons, eng hons., psychology hons, BSc hons etc.
Around 15 thousand annually. It is totally worth the cost.
Excellent seniors....all departments are extremely well devoted to their specific fields....focuses on co curricular activities also.....
The overall infrastructure of the college is good. Classrooms are well ventilated and well lit. The campus is neat and clean. But air conditioners are not there which makes it really hot and humid during summers.
In terms of academics, it has been ranked as No.1. The quality of teaching is really good and it makes students efficient enough to propel in their respective fields. About 80% of the students of our college opt for higher studies and the rest compete for competitive exams.
Placements need to be improved because the average salary offered is really very less compared to other institutions like IITs, NITs, reason being they offer technical courses. The college has a placement cell which makes the process of selection very smooth.
15000 INR (approx.). I think the college fee is worth it because it is really less compared to other institutions but at the same time competes with them in terms of academics, research, teaching methods. The college also provides scholarships to students from economically weaker sections.
Campus life is best compared to other educational institutions. Students get exposure to a lot of co-curricular activities like music, dance and sports including basketball and archery, NCC, NSS, etc
Miranda House has been ranked as No.1 college for the 7th consecutive year by NIRF. It provides a safer environment for girls from all the fields to excel in academics. Overall it is one of the best educational institution for women.
The college is having the best infrastructure among all the DU colleges which encourages the students with the best unique facilities in all the classrooms in different spheres along with the smartboards.
When it comes to quality of education, being at the top position in nirf ranking, the college provides the best teaching staff which contributes a lot in the holistic Development of the students......
Well..!! ........Students who are specialised in economic sphere gets most of the placements in my college ... .........However all the students get chance to come forward with their skill............
College doesn't costs more............. If I talk about my course... It takes around 15 thousand per year......................... However it varies according to the category of students ...... .......
Campus Life is really amazing.... When it comes to societies... The college is having the different societies which provides the golden opportunities to the students to come forward with their talents and teachers also plays crucial role in the impr. Of students.
