Miranda house is no 1 college since 3 consecutive years, its no doubt the best college...teachers r quite Cooperative and highly experienced...also they provide us with mentors and counselor to solve any personal issues we r facing...in terms of eca every imp functions r held, evrry1 is given equal opportunities... more thn 20 societies r there to show off our skills..
I dont have much idea abt this as m new, bt yes theres a society named placement cell which helps us to enhance our interaction skills nd increase our placement oopportunities....also the placement depends upon the subject u r opting..
Fees is the lowest among other colleges of du with one of the best facilities and teachers...its jst 14k/year..
As I've already mentioned the campus is too beautiful with lush green gardens, canteens with delicious food,a gym, sports ground,everything..
No
The infrastructure of the college is quite good.classrooms are pretty neat n clean n all facilities are provided. We have amazing laboratories n a big library. As we're in online mode so I'm not residing in hostel, but I've heard from my friends that it's pretty good.we have a mess that provides good food(although aloo n dal is mostly cooked?) n you get fruits as well. But in hot summers, residing in hostel is not easy as they don't have AC's but if you can manage then not a big deal.
I'm studying history Hons n i must say I've the best teachers of the country. The efforts they put n the teaching techniques they use ,make you love the course. Tbh the teachers put more efforts than students n they are always ready to help each n every student. All the recent updates regarding the subject are shared with us. in this online mode when it's a bit difficult to understand everything that's being taught to us, they conduct weekly tutorials with different groups for clearing doubts.
The placement cell is quite active. In this online mode, various webinars n such events are conducted for the same. The college societies are very helpful for this. N yeah various students from our college have got quite good placements. So overall it's good.
It's worth every single penny . You get the best quality education here. N bcz it's a govt college you don't actually have to spend a lot.One gets to interact with renounced personalities here. I remember attending meetings with Supriya Gandhi, Ramchandra Guha, n Rajkumar Rao etc.. here you get exposure so getting into this college is life changing trust me. N it's economically pocket friendly. My course fee is 28000 per annum I guess which is cheaper than other private colleges.it feels homely.
It's in North Campus n this is a wow factor. The staff, seniors n other people here are helping n welcoming. we have the best lawns in whole campus. The lush green gardens where you can click some of your best pictures? we have gym for fitness freaks. We've best cafeteria.eat what you wish.N it's located near Ramjas, Hansraj n other amazing colleges. Medical facilities are provided n it's very safe. No ragging or bullying. You'll get to meet the best people of your life here❤️
I hope this Pandemic gets over soon so I can witness the last year of my college in campus. Miranda is a vibe. I've got to learn so much here from everyone I met here. I've friends from South India, North India from northeast n they are my second home.the education I've get here is outstanding. This college made me more confident, expressive n a much better human being. I feel privilege to get into this institute. Once a mirandian, always a Mirandian ?
There are wifi spots, smart boards in classses. We get hygienic food in canteen and mess. Transport facility is easily available. There are all necessary infrastructure , factilities and equipments. Library is full of books.
Teachers are very caring and supportive. They teach every concept in a very good and simple manner. Principle is also very supporting. Our curriculum is updated and includes all the recent developments in the field. My study made me ready for the job.
Placements are fair. Not much good. Every year nearly 70 to 80 percent of students get placed. College is very supportive for all the students. I didnt take placement from college. But my friends are well satisified.
Campus life was very really good. I enjoyed each part of my college life, though in the end due to covid many things ruined up. But overall life was really good be it is studies or fests and all . The location is also safe. And it handles emergencies situations.
The college is awesome and vibes are incredible and can’t be compared with any other college it is a world in all of itself The teachers are super good and supportive and infrastructure of college is incredible

Miranda house Placement cell provide great option for placement. It invites many known and flourishing companies. Internship are also available for interested students. It helps in gaining experience in the field.
The infrastructure in Miranda House is really amazing. The campus is properly maintained and is kept clean. The hygiene is really good. The classrooms are properly ventilated, the classrooms also have projectors for screening purposes. The laboratories are always stocked up for all the necessary equipments required. The hostels are a bit inadequate in terms of provision of food and maintenance. The wifi services or the mobile network services are not that good in every part of the campus.
I am studying BA Hons sociology as I always had a keen interest in sociology and wanted to pursue a career in it. The curriculum is regularly updated and the resources are easily accessible to the children in the local stationary or libraries. The library have number of readings by various authors which help us in expanding our horizons. The job prospects just after graduation are not that good.
Placements are adequately provided for the students in Economics as well as Science Departments but for other fields like Political Science, Sociology or Philosophy there are a very few good job prospects just after graduation but the college has always been supportive in helping us find proper internships and providing valuable guidance.
The fees was around Rs. 15000 per annum. The fees was totally worth it, in-fact to be honest we were provided amazing facilities for such a low cost.
The college campus is really beautiful. The environment is really friendly and we grow together as a community by supporting in each other in every cause. The support staff are always there to help and guide. The safety quotient is also very well fulfilled.
Miranda House is a really good place for students who want to grow and learn further in Humanities and students should go for this college without a second thought.
Miranda college is well equipped with all the necessary infrastructure .It has a good library beautiful campus. The canteen is very good.the food is very hygienic and tasty. The environment is very peaceful and nice.
Our profesor are very good the classes are full of learning and discipline. the theatre and art classes are very nice. the professor always explain the topic with ease. The teachers are very supportive and helping.
The college offers really great placements.the placement cells provide us with the guidance and pre placement. College provides good opportunity to each and every students. Very big companies visit the college at the time of recruitment.
The education, infrastructure and the placement and opportunities the college provides are very good. Overall it's worth the money.
The campus life is full of fun and learning. The students are very friendly and helpful in nature. The teachers are also very good. Overall the campus life is outstanding
The college is really great. You meet one of the best and like minded Students here.
The campus has multiple cafeterias which are offering a variety of affordable and delicious meals. The overall infrastructure is good and serene with a lot of greenery. The campus always has some engaging events for students, and there is freedom for art enthusiasts.
Professors in the political science department are experts in their fields, and all of them are authors of many published papers. Moreover, our professors have been invited by many institutions and organisations as speakers. They are knowledgeable and very helpful, and our tutorial classes were held regularly and were really helpful. The course curriculum needs to be updated tremendously, and this is the thing in which Delhi University lacks.
Our college provides great options for placements. The placement committee of the college invites many known and flourishing companies like Wipro, Decathlon, Stanza, etc. Companies select students after conducting seminars and interviews. The committee also ensures part-time jobs. Internships are readily available for the students interested.
College has a nice infrastructure with a huge space.Even a college hostel is also available for the outstation students.Admin staff is so helpful in dealing with any kind of helpful work. The environment of college is so green and clean.Even the food provided by canteen is so hygienic.
I have studied M.Sc Mathematics there.Teachers are very qualified. The Quality of teaching is satisfying.Yes,our curriculum is updated and includes all the recent developments in the field.Even teachers help you in career making decisions too.
The placement cell of Miranda is amazing and it has been able to invite lot of reputed companies for placements which include McKinsey, Accenture, Deloitte Tech Mahindra etc.The average package for undergraduate is INR 3.6 lpa.
Yes I think the campus of Miranda House is well n good but one thing that I have noticed is the non availability of smart classes otherwise all the infrastructure including electronic devices, furniture, Walls and lecture rooms are well equipped. Other thing that I have noticed is the absence of lift for physically disabled students and teachers. If they provided wil be provided with this then we'll have the bestest infrastructure.
I am studying Hindi and Political Science as I wanna do mass communication or UPSC. Hindi and Political Science are my favorite subjects. Quality if teaching is good in hindi but in political science I think it should be combined with current topics.
As the subjects offered here are generally for skill enhancement so the placement nis moderate. And when it comes to students and their skills in this college they will be paid well good and it requires their practical knowledge for their better placement which is quite deservable
I cost Rs 14k per year which is less and I think it's deservable for all students.
It is best and it's location is also good . It is surrounded by trees and flower plants everywhere and teachers and seniors are well supportive and Frank . Campus is safe from all perspectives.
My experience in the college is quite good. I have lived my best overall personality development days and I learned to talk to strangers and also learned how to see the current situation of our country on the sympathetic basis

Sociology and NID are two different fields one is a degree course and other is a professional course in designing.in b.a sociology it not only provides knowledge of the books but also provides knowledge more about fieldwork and practice. placement is decent as many companies visit for on campus placement.
NID also provides internship and placement to the students in designing field.so it is upto you which course you want to pursue.dont go for good value and placement college you end up with frustration after sometime if you are not interested in the field.
Hope you understand...
