MMES Women's Arts and Science College, Vellore Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

The College has a hostel which is housed in a two-storied building. There are 32 rooms in the hostel, providing accommodation to 100 students. There is a reading room, office room, guest room, gym, and dining hall. The Hostel is run in a family atmosphere with the spirit of joy, a sense of duty, and commitment to one’s ideals. There is a balanced blend of study, recreational activities, moral and spiritual formation, and religious experience.

The college library was established in the year 2007 with the generous contribution of the management and the special interest of our General Secretary and the Managing Trustee. The collection of books in the library is being increased steadily. The location of our library provides ample space for students to have access to it. has a collection of books, journals, and CDs materials in Science (General, Computer Science, Mathematics, Microbiology, Biotechnology) Commerce, Tamil, English, order literature, and General knowledge.

The college has sports facilities for all students.

The college has an excellent IT Infrastructure facility for the students. Laboratories with around 150 Computer systems. It is well equipped and maintained. Internet facility is available to the faculties and students.

College provides students with a healthy and hygienic canteen. Regular breakfast, Lunch, Tea, and snacks are prepared for the benefit of the Faculties and Students. Both Vegetarian and Non-vegetarian food are supplied. 50 students can occupy the canteen hall at one sitting.

The College Seminar halls, each with a seating capacity for about 600 and 200 persons. Both the seminar halls are well equipped with Computer Systems, speaker facilities, Projector screens, Ceiling Fans, and Light settings.

The college has good networking for the alumni association.

The college has a Gym facility for the students. The Physical education Department in our college is well equipped with a ‘GYM’ and a fitness center.

The college has provided excellent transport facilities for the faculty members and students from various places. There are 7 route buses from Vellore, Katpadi, Melvisharam, Walajapet, Arcot, Thiruvalam, and Ranipet.
