The MR college of education Ashoknagar, a premier institution for teacher training located in North 24 Parganas district of West Bengal, India, offers two most important programs in education namely B.Ed and D.El.Ed program. Degree wise Admission Process

The selection process is in accordance with the policies of the state government and the affiliated university. Candidates seeking admission to the B.Ed program should have completed their bachelor's degree or an equivalent qualification from any recognized university.

D.El.Ed (Diploma in Elementary Education):

The number of seats in D.El.Ed is also 100, that is, 100 seats approved by the government. The admission criteria for the D.El.Ed program are the same as in the B.Ed program, meaning admission will be based on marks secured in the qualifying and or entrance examination. The admission procedure is based on the regulations adopted by the state government and its university. Higher secondary (10+2) or its equivalent from a recognized board is usually considered the eligibility to enroll in the D.El.Ed program.
