Dear Ismail,
Hello,, if you belong to Muslim minority or have any reservation category then your admission in this branch at this mjcet is easily to happen but for general category it is quite difficult the rank usually close under 10000-15000 rank. Now, many doors still open you can say even try other colleges for similar branch.....
BEST OF LUCK.
Thanks
Based on the latest TS EAMCET cutoff data for Muffakham Jah College of Engineering and Technology (MJCET) in Hyderabad, getting a seat in CSE (Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning) with a rank of 35,000 or 60 marks is very unlikely for the general category and most reserved categories in 2025 .
2024 Closing Ranks (General Category):
Category-wise Cutoffs (2024):
General: CSE (AI & ML) cutoff was around 39,573 (https://collegedunia.com/college/14373-muffakham-jah-college-of-engineering-and-technology-mjcet-hyderabad/ts-eamcet-2024-cutoff) .
BCB: CSE cutoff was 14,791 .
BCE: CSE cutoff was 37,601 ; AI cutoff was 41,124 .
Your Rank: 35,000 (with 60 marks)
CSE (AI & ML) Typical Cutoff: 24,500–41,000 (varies by year and category)
If you are a General Category candidate:
You are just at or slightly above the cutoff for CSE (AI & ML) and CSE in 2024.
Competition is high and cutoffs can fluctuate, so your chances are low but not impossible for the last round. If the cutoff increases even slightly, you may not get a seat.
If you are in a reserved category (like BCB/BCE):
For BCB, the cutoff is much lower (around 15,000), so it is very unlikely .
For BCE, you are just at the margin (cutoff around 37,601 for CSE).
Branch | General (Closing Rank) | BCE (Closing Rank) | BCB (Closing Rank) |
---|---|---|---|
CSE (Artificial Intelligence & ML) | ~39,573 | ~41,124 | ~14,791 |
CSE | 35,223 | 37,601 | 14,791 |
With a 35,000 rank or 60 marks in EAMCET, you have a very slim chance for CSE (AI & ML) at MJCET.
You might get a seat only if the cutoff goes higher than last year or in the last round.
Chances are better for lower-demand branches or if you belong to a category with a higher cutoff.
Tip:
Always participate in all counseling rounds, as cutoffs can change.
Consider backup options in other good colleges or related branches.
Hello,
Regarding your query, For an OC (Open Category) candidate aiming for a CSE seat at Muffakham Jah College of Engineering and Technology (MJCET) through the TS EAMCET, a rank between 15,000 to 20,000 is generally considered a good target for Round 2 cutoff.
