MIT Muzaffarpur is the one of the best engineering institute under government of Bihar!

This means the cut off for admission in different branches is very high, you need to be within 500 rank in general to secure a seat here!

In mechanical, the seats get filled within 200 general rank!

In civil, you would get a seat if you score within 250–300 general rank!

For electrical, the seats are available till 300–400 general rank!

In electronics and communication, you should be assured of a seat with a rank within 400–450!

For information technology, a rank of 500–600 is enough to fetch the seat!

The institution also provides a course in leather technology and a rank within 800–900 will surely get you a seat!

But keep in mind the thing that this data is not accurate rather precise and hence is bound to fluctuate according to the scenario!

and for the other college

To get an admission into this college you should have a valid JEE Main score and you should score around 90-96% in JEE Mains . For an OBC candidate 85-90% in JEE Mains . Admission to MCE Motihari is based on BCECE exam conducted by Bihar Government

As far as Placements are concerned, situation in either of MIT Muzaffarpur and BCE Bhagalpur are equally bleak with a handful of companies lile Alstrom and most of the Mass Recruiters like TCS, Wipro, HCL visiting campus and offering recruitment to students from Department of Electrical Engineering.

As far as Infrastructure, Faculty and Residential Facilities are concerned, BCE Bhagalpur is slightly better than MIT Muzaffarpur and is perhaps one of the better Engineering Institutes in Bihar after IIT and NIT Patna. However, I would suggest you to prepare for GATE in your final year and move on to pursue Masters from Higher Technical Institutes for better career scope and placement prospects like Top IITs, NITs, BITS Pilani and so on.

Bhagalpur College of Engineering is a Government Technical Institution in Bhagalpur, Bihar, India. This institute offers full-time B.Tech degree programs. The total fees for ECE course is around 58k. Placements for ECE are average here. The highest package goes around 7-8 LPA whereas the average package goes around 3 LPA. Muzaffarpur Institute of Technology is a public, co-ed engineering college in Muzaffarpur, Bihar, India. The fees for ECE course s around 51k for the whole course. Placements are nice here. I believe at a BCECE General State Rank of 1205, in spite of Category Advantage you may have bleak chances in securing either of IT or CSE at both of the above institutes. However you must fill them as your top preferences in Counselling Process. I believe you have higher chances of securing Mechanical, Chemical or Civil at the above two institutes. Do keep an eye on the counselling dates and procedure.

my suggestion go for  MIT Muzaffarpur.its better than bce in terms of labs,classes, infrastructure,hostel lyfe,tech fest and many more.

Civil, mechanical, electrical, ECE are main & good branch in  MIT. choose according to your interest.

- It is one of the best colleges in Bihar and also has considerable national repute

- B.tech fees is appro. 4.5 lacs

- The placements are good with average salary - 5-7 lacs per annum in 2019

- It is well known for its civil branch

- Academics are well balanced with some pretty great teachers

BCE:

- great infrastructure

- fees B.Tech - approx. 5.5 lacs

- placements similar to MIT - around 5-6 lacs per annum in 2019

- known for its mechanical branch

- academics is average as per current students but pass percentage is pretty high (above 60%)
