MVR College has a decent campus with basic infrastructure that supports learning. Classrooms are spacious and equipped with projectors in some blocks. The central library is moderately stocked with textbooks and reference materials, and there is access to a digital library for e-resources. Computer labs are available with internet access, and most departments have their own lab facilities. However, some labs may need better equipment or modernization. The college has a canteen, seminar halls, and indoor game areas. Hostel facilities are provided for boys and girls with average amenities. Wi-Fi is available in limited areas. The campus is located on the Vijayawada–Hyderabad highway, which is accessible but a bit far from the city.
I am pursuing B.Tech in ECE. The college follows the JNTUK academic syllabus, and exams are conducted on time. Faculty members are qualified, with a mix of experienced and new lecturers. Some teachers are very supportive and explain concepts clearly, while a few rely more on traditional teaching methods. Seminars, mini-projects, and internal assessments are part of the academic calendar. The college is working towards improving practical learning, and students are encouraged to participate in paper presentations and workshops.
Placements at MVR College are improving but are more focused on mass recruiters. Companies like TCS, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, and some local firms visit the campus. The highest package is usually around ₹4–5 LPA, while the average package is around ₹2.5–3 LPA. CSE and ECE branches get comparatively better placements. Core placements for Civil and Mechanical are limited, and many students go for off-campus opportunities. The college conducts placement training including aptitude tests, soft skills, and mock interviews through a dedicated placement cell.
The tuition fee is around ₹50,000–₹70,000 per year (under convener quota), and management quota fees are higher. Considering the infrastructure, faculty support, and placements, the college offers fair value for money. Students who put in effort and use external learning platforms can get good results. Scholarships through government schemes (like Jagananna Vidya Deevena) are available to eligible students.
Campus life at MVR College is decent and moderately active. Technical fests, cultural events, sports day, and annual day are organized every year. Student clubs for technical and cultural activities are present but could be more active. The atmosphere is friendly and safe, with supportive seniors and cooperative staff. The rural setting provides a peaceful learning environment, though there is less exposure compared to metro colleges. Still, students get to develop their skills through project work and department activities.
Good
The campus is good around 10 acres in distance. Our department has three computer labs. Our college has library as well as digital library. The classrooms have green boards and projectors also. Good furniture is also available in the classrooms. Our college has huge playground for outdoor games and indoor games facility are also available.
The teachers are very supportive and helpful. Maximumly every teacher is PhD holder. They help all students with their doubts. The course curriculum is relevant and makes us industry ready. The exams are also or moderate level. The teachers teaches with good ways and explains every thing clearly.
The placements in our college are the best. The average package was around 4LPA. And highest package was around 8LPA. Companies like TCS visits our campus for placement drives, Various internships are also provided here for all the students. Top roles offered for placements are site engineer, quantity surveyor, junior engineer, trainer etc.
MVR College of engineering in Visakhapatnam best engineering. Infrastructure and equipment highly developed. Wifi, smart board also available in classrooms. Libraries and laboratories also available. The living spaces are clean.
I am studying btech in this college. The quality of teaching is very high level because faculties are highly experienced . For my career I choose to btech and this college is best engineering. Faculties are also very supportive.
For placement this is not that much good but if you are in good rank definitely you will get placement. 60 to 70% of placement every year. And highest package offered to students 7lakhs per annum. Avarage package is 4lakhs per annum.
For Btech fees upto 4lakhs
Students can engage in any activities like sports and functions. Teachers also supportive.
The best experience in this college.
College infrastructure is good and well maintained it is giving comfort to the students who are educated there and we can spend time in simple and easy way without having any bored and the student can read easily
Academics are good and well maintained so that every systems in the college can learn easily and scored good marks in the semesters so that it will be benifited to the students to get job and settle in their life.
Placements are very high if we work hard definately we can places in any software company or any company first of all we have to learn the things in easy manner and can secured good percentage to eligible for drives.
Value for money is mainly depends on the students but the college is asking to pay more money for the placement classes if we attend the calsses is no use we have laern something so that is will be valued for the money.
Campus life is too good if we balance both enjoyment and studies then the collage life will be good and awesome if we mange both then collage life and student life also will be good and in good manner we can get job.
Collage is not only studies it is combination of both enjoyment and education but mainly eduaction is more important than enjoyment but enjoyment is also should be equal but should not exceed the studies.
