Degree wise Admission Process
B.A. Programs: NKRGACW offers B.A. programs in History, Economics, Tamil, and English. Admission to these programs is based on marks obtained in the qualifying 10 + 2 examination. The college has an intake of 80 seats each for B.A. History and B.A. Economics, and 50 seats each for B.A. Tamil and B.A. English (including second shift).
B.Sc. Programs: The B.Sc. programs are offered in disciplines of Botany, Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics, Microbiology, Nutrition and Dietetics, Computer Science, and Zoology. Admittance to these programs is competitive and managed based on the marks secured in relevant subjects in the 10+2 examination. The intake varies from 32 to 72 seats depending on the program.
B.Com Program: The B.Com program offered by NKRGACW has 50 seats for admissions and is based on the marks secured in the qualifying examination, with weightage for commerce and its related subjects.
M.A. Programs: M.A. programs in Economics, Tamil, and English are offered by the college and require a relevant bachelor's degree for admission. Selection for admission may be based on undergraduate marks and an entrance test or interview, when applicable.
M.Sc. Programs: NKRGACW provides M.Sc. programs in Physics, Microbiology, Mathematics, Computer Science, Zoology, Chemistry, and Nutrition and Dietetics. M.Com Program: The M.Com program of NKRGACW has found a placement for the admission of 36 seats. Admission under this program is based on the candidates' marks in B.Com or an equivalent degree and may also include additional selection criteria.
M.Phil and Ph.D. Programs: The college also provides M.Phil. programs in Computer Science, Physics, and Zoology and Ph.D. programs in Computer Science, Physics, and Zoology. For admission to these research programs, there will be a rigorous selection procedure including entrance examination, interview, and assessment of research proposals.
