NEC Engineering College in Guntur, Andhra Pradesh is a fully autonomous institute under JNTU Kakinada. The institute has good infrastructure, faculty and laboratory facilties. However, I believe if you are seriously interested in CSE and Artificial Intelligence, from your 3rd year you should start your preparation for GATE Exam and plan to pursue a Masters degree from a Higher Technical Institute like Top IITs or IISc Bangalore for better career scope ans prospects.

Narasaraopeta Engineering College has a an active placement and training cell. it has a good placement record for CSE with 50 offers for the 2020 passout batch. But the packages are not too good compared to other colleges.

Some of the past recruiters are : TCS, Wipro, Savantis, Sutherlands, etc

Narasaraopeta Engineering College (NEC), Narasaraopet is not in Guntur it is located in Narasaraopet. It was established under the Gayatri Educational Development Society (GEDS) in the year 1998. NEC is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and recognised by the University Grants Commission  (UGC). NEC is accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) and also accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA).

bhargavmhsh , From some research on internet about this college I found that NEC has good infrastructure, good in academics and all and have placement also but the package of placement was not too good. So if your wish to study after Bachelor then go for this otherwise not good in placements.

You didn't mention your category which is an important factor of determining your college and group. So it is difficult to predict the exact details.

If you belong to sc or st category then only it is possible to get cse at Nec for your rank. For other categories it is not possible to get it at this rank.

For bc category - below 75,000

For oc category - below 40,000.

For sc, st - below 1,25,000

NIC would be a better option because first of all it has an NIRF ranking of 178, got established  in 1946, while NEC got established in 1998 which is recently as compared to NIC.
