Here are some of the criteria recording class 12th eligibility criteria to apply for NIFT BDS examination-

1. The students must pass the Class 12 exam in the 10+2 pattern of examination with Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subject from any recognized Central/ State Board of Secondary Examination, such as Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi, and Council for Indian School of Certificate Examination, New Delhi.

2. Moreover, A pass grade in the Higher Secondary Education Examination held by the National Open School with at least five subjects - Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics is needed.

To appear for NIFT Entrance exam for B.Des course admission, candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent exam from a recognised Board.

---------> So on 10 th basis you cannot appear for NIFT entrance exam. You must complete 10+2 or equivalent exam from a recognised Board or College.

---------> Maximum age limit is 23 years as on 1 st August, 2022 and 5 years relaxation for Reservation Category candidates.

------------)  Maximum age of  the aspirant should be less than 24 years as on 1st August of the year of appearing for the entrance examination.  For Sc /st /ph candidates there's  a relaxation of 5 years.

------------) Tou should be either appearing for 10+2 or should have passed it with physics, chemistry and mathematics or Diploma of 3 years / 4 years in any programme of engineering recognized by aicte or state board of technical education.
