The National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT), Kangra provides a wide array of fashion and design courses for both undergraduate and postgraduate students. NIFT Kangra courses include various specialisations in the fashion industry. NIFT Kangra UG courses include a Bachelor of Design (B.Des) in specialisations of Fashion Design, Accessory Design, Textile Design and Fashion Communication along with a B.F.Tech in Apparel Production.
NIFT Kangra PG courses include a Master of Fashion Management (MFM) and a Master of Design (M.Des). The campus was under construction during my time there, new labs and structures were being added. The labs and resources were well maintained and adequate. Mess food was above average. Sports equipment and tech based equipment like smart boards and projectors can be improved upon. But overall there were no major issues.
