B.Ed in Special Education for Intellectual Disability: The Navjivini Institute has 25 students for the B.Ed Special Education Intellectual Disability program approved intake. The merit-based admission procedure includes marks obtained in the qualifying examination and or entrance examination in this course. Other components of the selection process may be included as per the policy of the state government, U.T. Administration, and the university. This course spans two years full-time and revolves around preparing educators committed to dealing with students with intellectual disabilities.
D.Ed Special Education Intellectual Disability: The D.Ed Special Education Intellectual Disability program is according to the admission criteria of the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI). Admission to the program involves counseling, whereby the institute can measure the adaptability of the candidates to the course. This, the second course, has a full-time duration of two years preparing teachers for teaching students with intellectual disabilities at the diploma level.
